If you're looking for great pizza in Wallingford, this is the spot! Both their more traditional thin crust and their Detroit style pizzas are absolutely fantastic. Even though pizza is the main attraction here, all their food that I've had has been great especially the wings. I'm pretty particular about wings, and I was really surprised when I first tried the wings here! Service has always been fast and friendly, and they have a nice dining and bar area. There's really nothing bad I can say about Christo's.

Depending on your taste this may be your favorite. Good New Haven style however I have found it to be not as consistently great. I still come here a lot but I'm not always blown away.

I’ve come here two other times and I honestly didn’t enjoy them a lot. Were they good? Yes where they were talking about, no.

However, I was ordering my go to pizza back then which was pepperoni. Until recent, I would order pepperoni pizza every pizza place I went. I have not had the pepperoni as of recent but back then it wasn’t amazing TO
ME however…

THE SAUSAGE Pizza MAYBE THE BEST. I was literally amazed at how great it tasted & I ordered it randomly. Weird fact about me I prefer sausage slices and not chunks This has broken my rule. This pizza is a clear 4.6 /5 i’d highly recommend it and as one of the top Google pizza reviewers listen to me.

The amount of cheese, the taste of the sauce and the sausage combination changed my thoughts on crumbled sausage. The only competition in the sausage pizza Arena that they may have is in New Haven, called pizza house. Those sausage slices are some of the best.

Whenever I get a chance, I’ll go to the last and third brother however, as of now, Christos is the winner.

Christos is about five dollars more expensive a little more busy and does have a better sit down option.

I decided to try Cristo's because a friend of mine raved about the pizza and burritos here. My wife and I had decided to try the takeout so we can watch football at home. We ordered the cristo's special Pizza, The lasagna dinner, and a big burrito. I probably would have given them a 1 or two star but the pizza was actually very good. The lasagna dinner was not that good. The portion seems small, it didn't taste that great, and the pasta was mushy as if the dough was slightly raw or severely undercooked. The burrito was big but it was filled with mostly rice. That was very dry. They charge you separate for the protein. After paying $13 for the burrito, I paid an extra $8 for the blackened chicken. I received about $1 worth of chicken. You could barely see or taste it. With the burrito that big and dry it would have been nice to have some sour cream and salsa on the side, but there will only a few cuts of avocado on top. No Chipotle drizzle. I spent over $70 for those three items and was very disappointed because I feel like I didn't get my money's worth. However, the pizza was so good It slightly made it worth it.

Christo special with no cheese. Very good quality pizza, this one was a little dry, didn’t have enough sauce, although sometimes there’s too much sauce, and sometimes it’s the perfect amount, overall it’s the best pizza in the area!

Christo’s is our go to restaurant once a week with wife and the kids. Excellent food and even better service. We love this restaurant and for sure the best in the Wallingford, Cheshire, Meriden region.
