Gouveia Vineyards

Love this place. The scenery was beautiful. The wine was delicious and the staff was very friendly. The pizza from Inferno pizza truck was super yummy Will definitely be going back next time. We’re in town.

There is no doubt that Gouveia is photographer’s dream, and as full-time wedding photographers, we have captured engagements and even surprise proposals here on the beautiful property. Whenever a client asks about a nice view in the hills, a vineyard or winery, something that feels almost like Europe, we tell them we should go here! We love how much the owners and staff allow us to use the property with ease. The scenic vineyard looks like a perfect set was constructed for us, and the long leading lines of the rows and driveway all help our captures. We love going by the pond with couples, too, making it feel even more like we have transported to somewhere that isn’t Connecticut.

It’s never a problem having other visitors there, or being able to hide and then catch the moment the proposal is happening. You can blend in and then pop out with any family or friends to the jubilant couple, moving right into the engagement session on the perfect property for it. Sunsets are always because of the clouds, and if you hit the right evening, it can be unforgettable here. The couples all grab some glasses at some point as well and love the offerings Gouveia has in all regards. Thanks again to the staff for helping elevate all of our occasions on the property, and we can’t wait to be back for more!

Gorgeous place inside and out. Fantastic service we loved the wines and the cheese platter was delicious. Would definitely visit again and again.

We celebrated my birthday, they let you bring food and you can choose any table, you can go with family and friends, the only thing you can't bring is alcoholic drinks. You can walk in the vineyard and take photos.

Kim was great! For our first time at any vineyard, we enjoyed ourselves. Tried the regular and dessert wines, yum!! The sunset was out favorite part?

Great idea for cheap family events

Locale is beautiful but wish they had better tables and maybe a umbrella for the strong sun

Staff was great, the setting was just as described and just a great, peaceful environment to spend time with family and friends! We had a great time! Chef O's food truck was great as well! Will be going back again, looking forward to trying when the fall season comes!

Grab a Bottle of their Steel Chardonnay and any place with a view (there are many) and feel like you have traveled to CA Wine Country. I have been to almost every Vineyard in CT, Gouveia is the most beautiful.

Delicious vast variety of wine, friendly service, gorgeous views; left with half a case and coming back for more!
