Wednesday's happy hour all night! Definitely have a short rib taco. Julie is great too!

We went to J Christians before a concert. Excellent meal, service, timing, etc. I have MS and unfortunately didn't have the energy to walk up the stair case and they were so eager to accommodate us! My husband is a chef and can be very critical but the food and cocktails were delicious! Looking forward to coming back when we don't have a time limit!

Came in on Valentine’s Day which was booked solid for two hours and of course we didn’t have a reservation. The bar is first come first serve and a lovely older couple were leaving and kindly offered us their table so we had a wait of 3 three minutes

Always had an amazing experience with food and service. Super friendly staff and owner. Was sweet enough to offer to deliver a dessert on a missed take out. Way above and beyond. Highly recommend the short rib and penne a la vodka. Desserts are killer.

Brunch menu was amazing. There was only 2 lounge tables left after 1pm due to a busy reserved dining area. Great sign. My friend and I didnt mind at all... however our waitress didnt walk over to us till past 5 minutes at least. (We didnt care or complain thou because we saw it was busy, and a boy brought us waters.)

A day later I’m still thinking about their rigatoni Bolognese.

A day later I'm still thinking about their rigatoni Bolognese. Went with a party of 5 and everyone loved their meal and everyone took home leftovers. Steak n truffle fries Short ribs Scallops Risotto Chicken parm Rigatoni 3 soups 1 cheese platter 5 adult beverages and dessert $220 (not including tip) Staff was friendly and did a great job Perfect place for a nice night out!

Highly recommend. It’s my Favorite Wallingford restaurant. We eat there almost every week. The specials are creative and delicious and the main menu has a little something for every palette.

The food is American average at best, smothered by too much sauce, cheeses, syrups. Steak Frites, the steak shouldn't have had any sauce on it. Crispy Brussels sprouts too sweet and half soggy. My steak arrived cold, and Brussels sprouts piping hot. The caccio Pepe pasta was slightly over cooked & had way too much cheese on it . Pasta all stuck together - The food was Very heavy,,couldnt finish half of it, and we left bloated - not a good way to leave a rEstaurant Don't sit upstairs, the floor shakes when peopLe walk on it and service is average, and you feel removed from the atmosphere - 1st floor is better.

Went here several weeks ago; we sat up stairs on a Friday night: 15 minutes to get first round of drinks; cheese board was great but the bacon wrapped meatloaf msim course was tepid, tasteless and lacking any gravy..who serves meatloaf without gravy; truffle fries cold, limp and a waste of money. Waitress was nice and tried her best but she had too many tables and not enough help. Great ambiance but equally poor service and mehish food

Had one of the best dinners here recently. Enjoyed every from food, service and venue. We lucked out and didn't have a long wait either. Looking forward to trying once a month brunch they do.

Great atmosphere, even better food. Meatloaf (bacon wrapped) was killer.
