One of the things that I was so happy to see was a restaurant that took acoustics into account when designing their decor. With an abundance of sound absorbing panels neatly placed on the ceiling, La Piazza is a very quiet, comfortable, and non fatiguing environment in which to dine. Bravo!
And of course... the food, service and atmosphere is exceptional as well! 👍

I've dined here several times and will keep coming back. The food is excellent, the service is top notch, and the atmosphere is amazing. A seat at the bar or a party in the dining room...they didn't disappoint. Highly recommended.

This was my first time visiting and definitely will be going back. The food was amazing. The staff were amazing and attentive. The portions were way beyond what I envisioned. A hidden gem right here in Wallingford!

Really wanted to like this place as it always looks lovely from the outside but unfortunately the food was average at best with enormous portions. It feels as though they are using huge portions to distract from the fact the food really is not good or fresh. I was really disappointed when I asked about their lobster ravioli only to find out they buy it frozen. I’d be much happier to get much less food for the amount we paid but actually have it be enjoyable.

My goodness that was amazing! The photos will speak for themselves. I’ve never seen a pork chop as big as the one that I got. I happily had it for breakfast this morning. The staff was very attentive. We arrived early and it wasn’t a problem. All of the food was amazing.

My family and I had a wonderful dining experience at La Piazza in Wallingford tonight. The food was authentic, flavorful, and beautifully presented, with every dish reflecting great care and quality. What truly elevated our evening was the excellent service, especially from our waiter Ervis, who was attentive, professional, and made us feel genuinely welcome. Each course was served promptly, and his friendly demeanor added a personal touch that made our visit even more enjoyable. With a perfect blend of delicious food and outstanding hospitality, we look forward to returning soon and highly recommend La Piazza to anyone seeking a memorable meal.

A nice little restaurant that has great service All the staff Had smiles ? on all the time and really attentive. The food was cooked well and served hot.
Was surprised by the really high prices for appetizers and such here (high enough that we only ordered main dishes though we always order appetizers or dessert at the restaurants up the hill). Had the carbonara, but it was more like a cream (almost chicken-soup) sort of sauce than a carbonara. Huge portions (we laughed because we’d never seen bigger portions....), but I didn’t really want to take any home once I ate what I could. It was just, in my opinion, quantity over flavor. I think the food was solid quality, it just didn’t taste that good and the quantity was really over the top. With some significant shifts in the dishes and pricing options, I think it could be a lovely restaurant. The drinks were delicious (bartender knew what he was doing for sure), the staff was kind and conscientious (lovely waiter), and work has gone into this place (attention to the decor was clear--it’s a pretty space). I’d like it to succeed...
