This restaurant was recommended, but the truth is the food was not as good as I thought. My dad ordered a tray paisa and the chicharrón did not have any meat and I am not being exaggerated and when he asked the waitress if they could give him another chicharrón that had meat, she said it couldn't be done. And I ordered a snack and it also came with pork rinds and the pork rinds I received were very good. My mom and aunt's other two dishes were also good they looked good. The bad thing is that they didn't change the chicharrón to the paisa tray and there were only two waitresses, the food took too long from the time we asked for it to arrive. I don't think we will return, the experience was not very good. Since it is called “Los Parceros” we thought it was a Colombian restaurant, but the meals are more Ecuadorian than ColombianDietary restrictions: None it doesn't give you that option

This place is absolutely disgusting. We ordered food, and when it arrived, everything was raw, stale and dry. Everything smelled like vinegar like it was rotting already, and they just refried everything. There was hairs not just a single hair strand multiple hairs all over the food it’s like they don’t even care, we call and we try to speak to a manager and we just kept getting dialed off. We finally got through to someone and their excuses. No one speaks English. This is America who doesn’t speak English at a restaurant especially for customers who have a genuine concern about food safety. Nothing was Fresh at all I mean nothing the food was absolutely trash, I myself am Colombian and this is a absurd restaurant to be referenced to Colombian food they should be disgusted and embarrassed that they’re serving this type of food to the community. I have spoken to the health department of Wallingford, and it started an investigation to see what is going on at the restaurant, because they refuse to do any type of help or resolution to the customer whatsoever. If you do not want to sit in a bathroom for two hours, wondering and having any regrets about why you order at this place I highly recommend you do not eat here. The last thing that one of the apparent supervisors in charge during the phone call said she does not care and then she hangs up the phone. I call right back and I tell the worker you need to work at a place where they care about people and themselves no one cares there and obviously they don’t care about the safety and quality of their food at all, how embarrassing.

My friend and I visited the restaurant on a Sunday around 10:30am. The ambiance is casual, and while there's seating, it also seems to be a big take-out spot. There's parking in the front, but also a lot on the side. We both ordered the Calentado Colombiano. It was very good, but I didn't care for the rice. It might just be Colombian-style, but it was a little soupy for me. Otherwise, it was very good! We each also ordered a pan de bono with a guava filling... oh my! I've had pan de bono before in Ecuador, but never with a filling! It was so good. The coffee was also much better than at other places. There was prepared food and pastries and frituras in the front if you want something right away. Overall, I enjoyed the food and would return for more pan de bono and to maybe try a different dish.

The food is delicious. The staff is friendly. If you choose food that is already prepared as part of the "buffet" of daily choices, service is fast, and you can see and choose exactly what you want. Their Colombian "pastries" are authentic and delicious. The atmosphere is simple and low key. Prices are very reasonable.
