Went yesterday on high hopes of a good bbq place .. my kids only wanted to try the Mac and cheese so I ordered 2 sides. Waited 25 minutes finally went to the girl working after seeing pole after me get their orders. $21 for 2 sides of cold Mac and cheese with meat In it so my kids wouldn’t eat anyways .. sad to say not going back and Mission BBQ was way faster and no meat in the Mac.

Being from Buffalo food is a staple of our everyday lives. Our drive into Connecticut was rough to say the least. Our hotel underwhelming. I didn't know what to expect when finding a restaurant. We settled on Pig Rig because the atmosphere seemed cool. After a disastrous night this place turned our frowns around. The food was amazing. It was exactly what you want a BBQ joint to be like. The baby back ribs were the best I've ever had. Everything was great. What a great way to start our Connecticut adventure on a great path. Now come here and enjoy your meal today!

Went there yesterday for the first and last time ! To start , when our food arrived it was cold.. like it had been sitting in the fridge and was microwaved for a few minutes and it tasted exactly like it had been sitting in the fridge for a few days. The MAC and cheese was dry, the ribs had a weird taste to it and the corn bread was store bought. I didn’t return the food cause my daughter paid for it and didn’t want ( a scene ) well long story short , I was extremely disappointed ☹️

The ribs were great! We also had Cowboy Baked Beans, cornbread, and collard greens as sides, which were all very good. Fair prices for what you get. Highly recommended.
I can honestly say this is the best bbq I have had in connecticut. We came in 20 minutes before they closed and the food was still out of this world. The smoked chicken fell right off the bone I didn't even expect it and the pulled pork melted in your mouth.

We had Pig Rig BBQ Cater my brothers 40th birthday party and everyone, and i mean everyone LOVED the food. Completely blown away. People were making plates to bring home it was that good. The delivery driver arrived early, helped unload everything and was extremely polite and courtesy. The ordering process was easy and they talked us through everything. The extra sauces you can order are also out of this world!!! I personally would recommend the Jerk Chicken. It's hard to find a good Jerk recipe outside of the Caribbean but this place nails it.
I would Highly recommend trying this place if you haven't already, we've tried a lot of BBQ joints in CT over the last few years and this place is by far the best BBQ we have ever had.

We had a 50th birthday catered by Pig Rig this past weekend. I was looking at food truck options and happened upon Pig Rig. I reached out to them and immediately heard back and started the planning process. From the beginning, I was impressed with the promptness and customer service. The planning was easy as we discussed the catering option. This worked out great allowing more food options and more time for the guests to eat at their leisure. Communication was always spot on, with requested changes to the menu made with ease. The day of, the food was on time and delicious! The delivery guy was so polite, helpful and professional. He went out of his way to to the extras to make the experience top notch! Thank you Pig Rig!!!
