The place has potential, and food is good (not great - smoothies are on the sweet side), but it’s a slow for take-out, extremely pricey (an açaí bowl for $15??), and too loud inside with too much foot traffic in front of the tables to just sit and relax. There are similar places in North Haven (and of course New Haven) that are worth the trip if you plan to spend a few hours working.

Great spot to eat, food is healthy and delicious! The desserts are amazing, no processed sugars or any junk. Disappointed to see negative reviews for masks, u people need more chaga in ur life.

I walked into Pure Alchemy for the first time and I got caught up in the sights, the sounds, and the smells. I felt healthier just standing there waiting to place my order. The atmosphere had a very calming affect on me. Beautiful murals on the walls and fresh bright colorful fruits and veggies behind the counter ready to be juiced. James Taylor playing softly as background music. And I believe the smell was incense burning. Smelled great. I don't know much about the vegan...
