I recently took my cousin out for a 'birthday' breakfast and, since she lives in Wallingford, she chose Rick's. Glad that she did. It's a small, very casual place. Homey decor with a staff that makes you feel like family. My cousin ordered 3 pancakes- and omg, they were so huge she took half of it home. I did the normal eggs, sausage, toast & homefries. Basic eggs- yummy sausage...and the homefries were the star of the plate. The coffee keeps coming- so...

The food was amazing!! And our server Betsy was very courteous, friendly and fast to accommodate our needs while tending to the other customers. It's hard to find service that good anymore.

Food is yummy. Service is fast and friendly. The place could use some updates and some of the clientele was loud and obnoxious. Will still be going there for great breakfasts though.
