Me and my boyfriend have been doing doordash for a while now and every single time we're here (simply just picking up a doordash order) we would wait at the booth for 15-20 minutes while doordash is asking us if we'd like to unassign the order because if the wait. We ended up going to the drive through every time because no one would assist us at the booth. One time, a lady was super rude and said "well if you just waited a second, we could've gotten to you" even though we waited 20 minutes already. very rude. yesterday, picking up an order, we waited 15ish minutes in booth, ended up having to go to drive through again, and it was literally all kids working there (16,17 yrs) that were on their phones and was just chatting with a customer about not work related things (to say the least). We waited an additional 10 minutes for them to get the order together in which the doordasher who ordered it was extreamly upset on the wait time. The place looks beat, wait is too long, corporate needs to visit this place and think hard and strong about keeping this location open.

Always an insanely long wait in the drive thru, once you're in DT you're stuck, they refuse to serve you in the booths, extremely rude staff, impatient and 9/10 they always forget something in the order or something to the drinks if you modify it. Menu isn't updated, and they sound angry when you ask questions. Employees will walk in front of your car without looking. I only go if I'm desperate or think maybe one car ahead of me won't take 20 minutes to order. Honestly, corporate needs to do an overhaul of this location. Big time.

Went on a Thursday evening and waited more than 10 minutes to order. An attendant told me it was because they were backed up in the drive through. It's Sonic "America's Drive-In”! I left without ordering.

How is this place still opened?!! The owner clearly doesn’t care about it, it’s a ghost town every time I go but I still have to wait 20-30 mins for the food! The service is terrible, everything is broken. Couldn’t even get a receipt today because supposedly the printer was not working. Today was the last time I’m risking my health at this place, who knows what is going on back there with the food! The health department needs to check this place out asap! Go anywhere in the state to eat except Wallingford Sonic! This place is giving Sonic across the country a bad reputation!
Awful experience. Waited in drive through for over 25 minutes with ONE person in front of us. We could’ve shopped for and made dinner quicker and for much less cost!

My girlfriend and myself stopped by Sonic on Saturday night, it was about a half hour before closing which I don't normally like to do, but there was still a half hour. After waiting in the drive thru line for 15-20 minutes, we were told over the speaker that they were closing early and would not take our order. We tried to explain that we were literally the last car in the drive thru line and had been waiting there, but it didn't matter. They didn't even ask what we wanted so it's not like our order was too big. And because we were stuck there waiting for disappointment, everything else closed too! Thanks Sonic!

Worst sonic ever they dont care about outside speakers at all there is no sign says they don’t serve there. we waited for 25 minutes after we use the button and ended up going to drive thru and wait another 25 minutes for just a hot dog. Many people drive away and leave just because of waiting too long in the driver thru.
