Go Sundae Afternoon! Best ice cream in town, tied with Sweet Cream's for quality and with plenty of space for customers to relax and enjoy. Incredibly flavorful and creamy scoops with a kind staff, and the Choco Taco can't be beat!

Sundae Afternoon is a very cute ice cream shop. They only had 2 non-dairy flavors, but they were both very tasty. I definitely plan on returning soon and hope they add some more non-dairy options or rotate the selection often.

Found hair in the ice cream, unsanitary nobody washes there hands and stick there hands and arms in the ice cream, they said I wasn’t a fit for the job after working 2 days because I wasn’t a social butterfly… I was literally training. I have a process delay, I worked at Tacobell 3 years before moving to CT I literally did drive through and waitressing. Sorry I didn’t walk in acting like I owned the place and I was a little uncomfortable on my first day. She told me not to come back when I told her I felt as if she was discriminating me. She kept talking about how I was good at cleaning and All this other stuff but I wasn’t social and I seemed nervous yes ofc it’s a new job I only worked four hours the second time I worked and last time there was no customers at all for her to make a judgment. They probably wanted to hire a younger girl that was more socially inclined, she disrespected me and discriminated me talking about how she was surprised I felt like i didn’t agree with her that I didn’t seem like I was fit for the job like why you call me talking about me not seeming like I was socially not enough for the job and if I agreed. I was nervous I JUST STARTED!!! Like what I don’t need the job I always wanted to work at an ice cream shop I literally got the job because I thought it would be fun!! I have a full time job working in a hospital where I am very social because I am comfortable these two woman made me very uncomfortable and it bothered me because I work in a hospital and there procedures didn’t seem like they were sanitary at all. Not to mention the other thing she wanted to talk about was how I was comparing and making excuses why I wasn’t doing these so confidently like asking questions and telling her at my past jobs we did things a certain way like she was just dipping the dishes in the soap and water and sanitizer when you are supposed to actually clean them not dip them and take them out I know from my old job working at Tacobell we’d take time that it would sit soak we would then rinse with this power hose thingy that they had and we would let it sit in the sanitizer for it to sanitize but she didn’t do that she just told me to tip them when I asked her how long they have to stay in the sanitizer, like it’s a new job I have to ask questions sorry if your offended that’s what you do when you start a job ask questions she was doing things differently like I kept asking her for everything do I wear gloves and she’s like no you don’t have to but you can if you want to we have them, I just thought it would be mandatory I felt uncomfortable to wear the gloves because they both were not and there arms and hands were in the ice cream tubs I also found a little white hair in it and said some to her. Like everywhere I worked it’s mandatory to wear gloves it was just different. I didn’t even see her wash her hands once and she was touching her phone and laptop and it was just yuck, I went home talking about these matter and not sure how I felt about it. Idk it’s weird my cousin applied for the job I feel like she is gender discriminating and only hiring girls young girls that are all social butterfly’s.

My daughter has been asking me to go here for a while, she sees it on her way to school. Every thing about this place was amazing. Laura waited on us and was patient with my daughter and we had a great conversation. The manager was very nice too. The atmosphere was very welcoming and we stayed and ate because of that.
