We just love the Library! My niece had her Bridal Shower here a couple of years ago, which is how I discovered the beauty of the Library Wine Bar and Bistro. The atmosphere, food, and service were all exceptional. Recently, we've been quite a few times to their Sunday Brunch and it's our most favorite. The price is reasonable, the selection abundant and delicious, and the service from all staff was phenomenal. I highly recommend this establishment!
Celebrated my sister in laws 40th birthday last night. Every single thing was perfect!! from the table set up, to service, to drinks, and the food. 10/10!! Can't wait to go back!
Excellent! Beautiful historical setting. Excellent food and drinks. Highly recommend a visit.
We asked for a booth that we were set at a table that was very small for two people why everybody else you had two people sat at larger tables. It could accommodate four people. Our service was rather poor. We felt neglected compared to some of the other customers that had their waiters come by frequently We felt maybe it was related to the fact that we didn't order any alcohol drinks
Great go-to spot. Prices are good and the food is great. We had John as our server and he did an awesome job. Thanks and we will be back soon.
Food and service was good. My salmon was the best I've had in while; tender, mild and a hint of sweetness. Well prepared. My husband's steak filet was good, too. The problem, if you will, was a dirty, run down restaurant, badly in need of cleaning and painting. The floor was sticky, the table was sticky with old varnish, a mirror above the unlit fireplace was fogged with grease. Painted and baseboard trim was filthy too, with accumulated dirt in every corner. Then there was the one and only bathroom, which was disgusting. My rule of thumb is that when a restaurant is dirty, so is the kitchen. It's a shame, because the architecture is pleasing and it could be beautiful, as it likely was when it first opened. We won't go back.
Overall good time for an early pre-concert dinner. Everything we had was very good. Our server and the rest of the wait staff and hosts that we dealt with were very nice and attentive to the table. We ordered steamed mussels and calamari for table apps, and I had the seafood pasta entree, they were all very good. It was Kentucky Derby day so the bar area looked crowded, lively and fun from where we were sitting in the adjacent dining area. It was our first time dining there with another couple that had dined there numerous times. Based on our first time there, we would not hesitate to go there again and can recommend it.
Our first dining experience at The Library Wine Bar & Bistro was a great one. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we tasted, and portion sizes were ample. The space itself is very cool - historic and charming, different from other restaurants. Highly recommend!
The Library is a wonderful restaurant with a uniques setting in a former library. The service and food were excellent. The only reason that I don't rate it a 5 is because we were seated at a high top table in the bar which was so loud we could not carry on a conversation. Which was especially disappointing in light of the fact that when I made the reservation, I selected Date Night as the occasion/event. Very disappointing. It was our first time at The Library so we didn't know what being seated in the bar would be like. We would try The Library again, but will avoid the bar as a seating area.
It appeared there were a number of associates being trained. Our server seemed to be spread thin.

This is the second time I've been here. Overall the service is very good and the building is so interesting, I love the little touch's that remind you it was a library. Overall though the food is just ok.
Great food and great service too and the people are good too
We came for a family dinner. Service speed and quality was just what you want. There was a great selection of cocktails and mocktails which everyone enjoyed. Food was very good which include some good vegan options. It was not our first time here and I know it will not be our last.
Had a first time experience in celebrating my wife's birthday. The food, service and an ambience could not have been better. And the birthday cake portion for my wife was a delightful surprise would highly recommend.
We visited for dinner because we had a previous experience at brunch and it was very good. Dinner, not so much. Fried Calamai was bland and very chewy, presentation was lacking as well. The braised “Beef Short Ribs” were nothing more than overcooked pot roast over a boat load clumpy sticky grits.Again, presentation was unappetizing. The Sea Scallops were small with chunks of chewy bacon over a concoction of quinoa, raw skin on diced green apples, cubed butternut squash and some kind of sweet puree underneath. The flavors did not come together and again everything on the plate was the same color and uninviting. Guess we should have been tipped off when the drink menu was bigger than the food menu.
