Everything was perfect. The food was so good. Not too loud or crowded like that other place in Cheshire that everyone thinks is so wonderful. This place you can talk to your family and friends without having to scream at them. Calm and relaxing evening. I will be back
Everything is great at early bird time and. We girls go in and. Have a great bartender and giggle

I first went to Westbrook Lobster in Wallingford back in 2019 and it left such a good impression that returned in 2025 for my Birthday and was utterly disappointed with the Faroe Island Salmon entree. The Salmon was swimming in the sauce which overpowered the fish. That sauce should have been on the side. Furthermore, the entree didn’t agree with my stomach. I needed an Antacid the following morning

So is I was expecting authentic Maine lobster and they didn't have a lazy man's lobster so I went for the 1/2 lb lobster roll which I was hoping was made with fresh steamed lobster, it wasn't. I guess once you've tried Reds in wiscasset Maine it's hard to compete. It was really lacking taste . My wife had the casserole which the vegetables were fantastic the lobster was fair with too much bread crumbs. Maybe I should have just ordered a steam lobster or or maybe drive to Maine and find a lobster pound. I felt I probably could have gotten just as good lobster in Pennsylvania.

This was my first time dining at this restaurant. Gina the waitress was super friendly and very accommodating. The Atmosphere was great as we had a view of the stream. I had lobster taco which was pretty good, it could of been a bit more seasoned, but overall i enjoyed my meal. The cost is somewhat on the pricey side. I would definitely go back.

The Westbrook Lobster House offers a unique dining experience in a beautifully restored old brick factory. The industrial charm adds character, while the seafood is fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Whether you're enjoying oysters or a hearty seafood platter, this place delivers both in ambiance and taste.

Well, there were hardly any customers in the place, which is a huge red flag! Also, they said they were out of steamers, which is one of the main reasons we went there! I could not tell if they were lying, or merely interested in giving lousy customer service! Another red flag! As I was trying to eat my food, I developed a coughing fit, which had never occurred before with me in a restaurant setting! Red flag number 3! I could go on, but what is the use? I do NOT recommend dining here. Enough said!
Dietary restrictions: The waitstaff did not bother to ask us if we had any food allergies!

I've been here several times & the food has consistently been good and reasonably priced. The clam chowder was watery, had very fee clams and just was not good.
I ordered the seafood combo. Every single restaurant I've ever been to has a combo of shrimp, scallops, fish and clams.
Nope, I was asked to choose two items ( shrimp and scallops) with a side order of cole slaw.
4 pieces of shrimp
4 pieces of scallop
Over $30!
This is higher than NYC prices.
I won't be returning, nor recommending.
