The Pantry - Restaurant & Bakery

This is my favorite spot in Washington Depot, besides the Hickory Stick Bookstore of course. The food is excellent, the owners are real human beings, the scene is cozy Connecticut elegance, buzzing and lively and cool.

My husband and I invited another couple to have brunch with us after church. I had made reservations for 2 before leaving the house. When we arrive to check in I let the hostess know that I added a couple to dine with us. She very accommodatingly said,”there will be 4 people?” I said yes. The hostess updated the reservation and kindly asked to give her a few minutes to get us seated. It was so nice in there, food was very good and plenty of it.

It was so cute for Valentine's Day and they gave out chocolate candies. We did all appetizers and they were all delicious. I highly recommended the maple bourbon wings. The service was great, everyone was nice with high energy ❤️. I can't wait to go back!

Came for Valentine's day breakfast. Food was amazing! Service was exceptional! Everything came out so fast. Every item on the menu was prepared very well and so delicious!

I enjoy coming here for breakfast and lunch. The service is always good, and the staff is very helpful. They have a large selection of food choices for you to try which always makes it interesting.

I love this place, I think you would love their roast beef sandwich on a sourdough bread 😉

The Pantry was a very nice experience. Enjoyed the lively ambiance that it wasn't like the usual diners we've been to in the past. The menu was great and had many different choices apart from regular diners. The Pantry will definitely see us again!

This was a great brunch experience for my family. The waitress and manager made sure we felt welcomed and provided excellent customer service. The food was prepared perfectly and the portions are superb. I look forward to dining again at The Pantry with my family.

Second time dining here. First time tried the Jamaican tacos as an appetizer and came back because they were so good. Ordered them again and they were equally delicious. Drinks are solidly good. Each entree we have ordered (chicken and waffles, crab benedict, crabmeat stuffed shrimp and chicken teriyaki) have been very good. Everything cooked fresh. Friendly, attentive service and overall great experience both times I have visited.
