Out for a ride to view the Connecticut foliage, we may a stop in Washington, Connecticut, and looked for a place to have lunch. The Pantry has been open for more than 40 years. I've been going there for well over a decade, and have never been disappointed by the experience. This is a restaurant/kitchen and home goods store. The food is fantastic. You can eat in or order to go; they also run a fabulous catering business. Perfect spot for lunch. The menu changes substantially every day. You can dine in or take away. All of the food is made inhouse, and much of the ingredients are provided via local farms What more could you want? Perfect! PS.
