12 of us were there this evening and charged $5 per person to just get onto the grounds. (I hope this isn’t the new norm btw) Anyways, we knew there was a 90’s cover band at 8pm and planned to leave before then. If you wanted to stay for that it was $10 per person but we had two kids that were under 16 with us so we knew we couldn’t stay for it anyways since that was the requirement for the band viewing.

As a group of 12, we easily spent $300-$400 on food/dinner and drinks while we were there. Around 7 PM we were asked to either pay the five dollars extra to watch the band or to leave. We had not even finished eating and some of us hadn’t even gotten our food that we had already paid for. Again, this was an hour before the show. At 7:45 we were told again that we needed to leave or pay the extra $5 per person. We were wrapping up our meal and left shortly after. I am seriously disappointed with how we were treated this evening. We were paying customers and a very quiet group. Instead of requesting us to constantly be paying the additional five dollars, a kind suggestion that the band will be starting at 8 o’clock and that we needed to leave would’ve been fine. We all felt disrespected and unappreciated as customers who spent time and plenty of money there.
My suggestion is to take your business elsewhere where they appreciate their customers and don’t nickel and dime them.

You can only order food via the QR code. They kept shutting down ordering on the app because the kitchen was getting overwhelmed. Took me 75min to get a food order in and then another 50min to get my food. Other than that it’s a cool place.

Fun happy hour spot

I really want to love this place but it’s literally overrun by unsupervised children. I watched kids playing with surge protectors and unplugged cords, pull curtains from the windows, throw lawn furniture around outside. It’s really disappointing and makes an otherwise fun, adult experience completely miserable. I don’t necessarily have an issue with parents wanting to bring their kids here but it quickly turns into a daycare where patrons are half expected to keep an eye on the dozens of children running around. Where are the parents? I don’t know! Certainly not paying attention to their children. This isn’t Chuck E Cheese.

One of the best places for music in CT! Beautiful spot right at the base of Talcott Mountain.

The most enjoyable place I’ve been to in a long time. Incredible view, music, staff, food & vibe.
