Our experience was excellent. The food at Angry Tofu was fresh, well-seasoned, generously portioned, and fried absolutely perfectly. All the flavors amalgamated really well… Try the pork dumplings and the little side of lotus! ☺️🙏🏽

This review is purely based on the vibe. I haven’t even tasted the food yet but wanted to walk out. I hope the owner reads this because as someone who works in restaurants, it really left a bad taste in my mouth. I walked into the owner or manager (older Korean lady) scolding the waitress at the table in front of the guests as they awkwardly watched. Then I said hello and she just walked past me. A nice young lady instead greeted me and sat me. Then I put 2 empty drinks down on the table to save my seat because I drove for 4 hours and needed to run to the restroom. When I came out she scolded me too telling me I can’t bring in outside drinks. Of course I understand that so I explained they’re empty and I just had to run to use the bathroom. No apology or understanding. Just a dirty look and walked away again haha. Theres just no need for such rudeness before I even sit down lol. I feel sorry for her nice team. Everyone else seems to care more about guest experience than her. I love to go out of my way to support other Korean businesses but I guess some people don’t deserve kindness and support if that’s how you treat customers and your own staff. 👎🏼
For me, it’s a 45-minute drive—and yes, it’s 100% worth it. Incredible food and the best kimchi in the area by miles. If you’re on the fence, this is your sign to dine.
Really great place! The banchan was amazing, my absolute favorite was the cucumber. It's tangy, just a bit spicy and super crunchy. The galbi was really flavorful, and the soontofu had an egg, chock full of meat and filled to the brim with tofu. I couldn't even finish mine, it was so filling! Highly recommend this place

This restaurant provided an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. The food was truly excellent, and I was especially impressed by the quality of the staff. They were genuinely friendly, incredibly helpful, and made the entire meal feel welcoming.
The star of the show was definitely the La Galbi; it was cooked to absolute perfection. Additionally, the Kimchi Jeon (kimchi pancake) was remarkable—it was wonderfully flaky and flavorful, showing great execution.
I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for delicious Korean cuisine and exceptional service

Good food. I especially liked the soft tofu soup. Pork bulgogi had good flavor but was a little less spicy than normal. Will ask for extra spicy next time

Angry Tofu is one of, if not the best, Korean food spots in CT and possibly in New England.
The food is always amazing, consistent and comes out quickly, service is great and I've enjoyed coming here for almost 10 years now for both lunch and dinner. Absolutely the go to spot when you want Korean comfort food!

It is a small restaurant and their food is wonderful. I always get the hot pot. Love their mini appetizers which for the most part are random on every visit but delicious.
