Annpurna Indian Farmers Market

I'm passing through town on travels, and wanted Indian food. I purchased some items from fridge because it didn't look like kitchen was open for a hot meal for $6.99, and no staff in sight to ask. Then I asked lady who finally came to counter if she could heat up the 2 items I bought for a total of $9.00. She wanted to charge $5.00 to heat food in the microwave for a few minutes. When my food store was open I would give excellent service to accommodate my huge following of customers to make them happy and come back for more. It's called Customer Satisfaction. Not at annapurna's place!
I asked if I could microwave it myself and she said yes and brushed me off. After buying it, I look at the back of package and I have to either pan fry or use conventional oven of which I have neither because I told her I'm traveling through. What a shame to be so greedy, selfish, and dishonest. I read owner, annapurna's, reply to another customer review which she said
"we are trying our best to give best service and price." Firstly, annapurna, you should look up the true definition of 'best'. Then my suggestion to you would be to try harder!

I'm always looking for well stocked Indian markets. This one is a keeper! Lots of base ingredients as well as interesting finds.

Food is delicious and service excellent. Great ethnic grocery store in the area! Would return.

Have known the owners since 2017 when they ran the store on Route 44. They are the nicest, warm, welcoming folks. Always ready to take requests for special items and then making them available soon.
We have loved having fresh produce and dry groceries so close by on Route 4! It is a dream come true to have ready-to-eat Indian street food snacks every day!! The store is exceptionally clean (including the bathroom). Every time there is any problem, they are quick to address it!

Whenever I am driving home after a longer than expected day, I look forward to be able to pick something yummy in a jiffy!

It is a good experience. Staff and owner are very helpful and supporting. You will find almost all Indian stuff. Lots of variety.

Not good, old stuff, high price

I definitely wanted to provide feedback about this store. I am very regular customer of this store. I have no problem with the stuffs they keep or their high prices comparing to other stores. The lady who sits in counter is nice so as their other employees. But the actual owner is very bad mannered, short tempered person. If anybody enquires about any item, he is unable to give timely response and starts shouting. I have heard this behavior of him already cost dearly in past. But this is also making inconvenience to other customers.

Beautiful market, lots of fresh produce and Indian food products.

Terrible, the employee was on the phone and I tried to order some take out food . Because he wasn’t paying attention he gave me something different., but I didn’t realize it till I was gone. I also said not spicy , that was also wrong.

Great local Indian market. Very well organized and a great selection across the board, along with very fresh vegetables. Came home with some of our favs and some new things to try out. Staff were great as well.

Convenient location. The prices are a little higher as compared to the nearby Indian grocery stores. Fresh vegetables are mostly fresh.
