This is the closest shop to me, I love the cheeseburger subs and the number 9 steak and cheese. I wish they still had shops in the New Haven area!! The guys here are very good always very customer friendly.

The service and facility were great but the food, yuck! This was the first time my wife and I ever ate a D'Angelo sub. I got the Toasted Italian and my wife had a Turkey sub. Honestly, these were the worst subs I have ever ate. The vegetables were all wilted, the tomatoes looked to be frozen at one point so they had that semi translucent look to them. Overall, just bad. My wife only ate a few bites before throwing it away. $33 for two subs and they were terrible.

I was craving for a good D’Angelos’s sandwich. I didn’t get a good one, I GOT THE BEST ONE EVER! Perfectly made. The great smile attendant’s name is actually D’Angelo, such a nice person, who should get a raise. I will pin this place down on my map. This should become a must visit for me. Suggestion: Steak and cheese with grilled onions, bacon, pineapple and buffalo sauce. So good!

The good ol' classic American Steak Sandwich can be found @ D'Angelos. No frills, just a good grilled cheese steak. when walking through the door, you can smell the variety of fiction that go on the grill with your steak sandwich.The service was excellent as they take your detailed order and then immediately begin preparing it.My #9 Steak bomb came out hot and overflowing with the grilled goodies. The first bite was so good, I felt like it would last forever.Anytime you feel like an Authentic bonafide Cheese steak sandwich, just stop into D'Angelos on the Silas Deane Highway, right on the town line!
D'Angelo was a delight and a pleasant surprise! His service was beyond outstanding! He is the reason why I'm eating from D'Angelo again today. He was super patient, explained everything with a smile and welcoming demeanor that even sit down steakhouses sometimes don't get right. It was closing hour but he was more than happy to accommodate every little weird request I had made and delivered a high end suit down restaurant style experience. Because of him'i would recommend this locatioe, even though it's fast food.
