Let me start out by saying I never go out of my way to write reviews online if restaurants. I showed up recently at 7:50pm…I didn’t know they closed at 8pm. I walked into the restaurant not knowing this information and usually most places are ready to go home by now. I wouldn’t have even showed up if I knew they closed at 8pm because I’d feel bad having the employees stay and wait.
I walked into this place about to close and the cashier was incredibly welcoming. They didn’t pout or roll their eyes when I walked in about to close, they stated they love the business and support.
THAT is excellent customer service. That should be the gold standard everywhere. Now let me tell you the food? I’ve been coming here for some time now, and you’ll never go to Chipotle, Moes, etc. again. This place has my favorite bowl. Everything there is delicious.
I highly recommend you come here versus a Chipotle. You’ll be in and out if you get takeout.

I tried this restaurant for the first time yesterday. I am impressed!! I got the Dazed and Confused Bowl with rice. It was OMG DELICIOUS!!! The crispy Brussels sprouts were perfection, the caramelized onions and seared mushrooms with the queso fresco! YUM. And the chicken! So tender, juicy and flavorful. It was very filling and satisfying. I really enjoyed the citrus aioli. I can't wait to order from here again. Highly recommend trying.

I work for 3 years in this area but only yesterday I decided to try this place and I absolutely loved it. Delicious rotisserie chicken with soft and well softly seasoned rice. I will stop by more often for sure.

We order take out from here at least once a week as my toddler is obsessed with their cheese quesadilla and asks for it all the time! Their food is consistent and delicious.

El Pollo Guapo is my favorite quick service restaurant in Newington! The chicken is fresh and delicious. I always get one of the greens bowls, it comes with many great ingredients, with complete customization. It's super easy to order online and customize your order. I've never had an incorrect order.
