It's been a while since we have eaten here but our favorite server Lek started working here. So we followed her. The restaurant is in a shopping center with plenty of parking and lots of other great stores. The place itself is clean and modern-looking. It must do a great takeout business since there were at least a half dozen take-out orders waiting. They don't do happy hour but it's not that big of a place. The menu is not as extensive as bigger restaurants but it had all the basics plus some treats. We started out with drinks. My wife asked for a gin concoction. Lek saw that she didn't seem to like it and immediately replaced it with a different drink. The other ladies got fancy mixed drinks which they loved. I got my usual hot sake. For appetizers, we had octopus balls ( not sure correct name but that's what I called them). They were hit and delicious. We also had the seaweed salad. The Korean calamari was on the tiny side which didn't add to the flavor, unfortunately. We had the Love Boat for two which came on a plate. Sushi and sashimi were fresh. The Miso soup was tasty. The yaki soba was just okay. The dessert was gobbled right up. Ginza is a good family restaurant with good food and service.

I ordered uber eats from here, Yaki soba w/chicken and Yakitori. I payed to add the chicken & there was barely chicken or vegetables.. it was mostly noodles. Also the flavor wasn’t there. It needed at least more salt. I’m very dissapointed because I payed much and waited too long for nothing. Sadly, I had to say something so you can do better.

Here's a concise review for Ginza:

I had the pleasure of dining at Ginza this evening, and it was an exceptional experience! The service was excellent, and the food was nothing short of amazing. The elegant and refined atmosphere added to the overall charm. Their sushi and teriyaki dishes are standout highlights that I can't recommend enough. A fantastic addition to the dining scene!

I think they thought my friend and I were on a date. We requested separate checks and the server really didn't interact with me for the rest of my meal. Very bizarre experience especially since my friend doesn't believe in tipping. ??♂️
The food was good, but I don't think I'll be back.

Just ordered Chicken Pad Thai to go. Honestly, where is the chicken?
This is 99% noodles and everything else is none existent.
The meal also tastes sour.
Absolutely a joke!

Their food is one of the best sushi places ever, I ordered the shrimp tempura one with mango and one without amazing and the spicy mayo delicious. I just upset that they are no longer in Bloomfield,Ct anymore but happy their still around for sure.
Go to Kob Jai in Rocky Hill. Much fresher food and exceptional service.
Absolutely delicious lunch my husband and I had here today. Everything was reasonably priced, the inside was clean and the server was attentive and kind. Will be back!
