Hungry Pot Korean BBQ & Hot Pot

My wife and I have been a few times now. The first couple of times were great. This past time not so much. The hot pot is good and options available are pretty good. They tend to bring out items other than what are selected on the tablet.. or sometimes not at all. Also, crab legs were not warm and were served cold. You could tell some were old and dried out which is a waste. Prioritize serving warm and fresh like you used to!

The place is very welcoming and family friendly, and there is plenty of parking.
The food is good, there is a good variety of protein and veggies to prepare your soup or grill.
We paid about $30 per person, which I think is ok given the amount and variety of food available.

First time trying and had a fun experience. Kevin, our server was very kind and attentive and even brought out a piece of cake for my partner after letting him know it was his birthday. We (4 people) got the bbq option and enjoyed grilling the meat and veggies and sampling all the sauces at the buffet! Thanks hungry pot!

Okay overall. The ice tea wasn't fresh, tasted like it was mixed with sprite . Should the meats have been seasoned? Everything tasted bland ... Maybe not so fresh. I went to another Korean bbq restaurant (different company) and the food was amazing.

Hungry Pot is one of our favorite restaurants, and we have tried several locations, including Natick and Dartmouth in Massachusetts, and Westport and Manchester in Connecticut. This was our first time visiting this particular location.
Unfortunately, the service was very disappointing. Our server was unfriendly and rude. He came to our table without greeting us, placed half-filled water cups down, and later brought a large water pitcher for us to refill ourselves, without saying anything. It felt very strange and unwelcoming. He never explained how things worked or offered any help at the beginning.
We had to place our order entirely by ourselves using the tablet. Since it was lunchtime, we selected the lunch option, but the food selection was extremely limited. We were surprised, especially because it was the weekend and we expected more items to be available.
Throughout the entire meal, the server ignored our table. He never came to clear empty plates or check on us. When we needed something, we had to look around to find him. Before we even finished eating, he came over and asked if we wanted the bill.
After we said yes, he told us that because we ate crab legs, we were required to pay the dinner price, saying that on weekends they only offer the dinner option all day. We do not mind paying the dinner price; however, we were never informed of this at the beginning. As new customers at this location, we were only selecting from the limited lunch menu and received no explanation or guidance from the server.
The food itself was good, but due to the poor service, we will not be returning to this location. We hope he treats all customers more fairly and kindly in the future.

To call this Korean BBQ is a little offensive. The whole experience was off putting. My husband and I were immediately sick when we got home. Kids were running around coughing, playing in the sauces and running g back and forth to the bathroom. NEVR going back to this place again.

i love this place and now come often with my friend. i believe there is something for every palate they even have chicken nuggets and fries. worth every cent! the staff is super friendly and food comes out fast w great ingredients!!

This place is amazing!
Great place for couples or even a big group of 10, they can accommodate that . Food selections were excellent !
They also have a bar with a large variety drink options
