I don't know why this restauntant is allowed in CT, it's not safe, you can get burn yourself, you can easily get sick from the raw meat on your table, dirty plates of raw meat are left on you table, the smoke from your grill soffocates you...I can't say anything good.

If you know me you will know this restaurant is good I am a very very pick eater And for me to visit this restaurant twice in one week is a big deal there is only one thing about this restaurant I dislike is the seating area I'm disabled and it's hard for me to be comfortable I have to stick my leg out to the side and hope I don't trip anymore but other than that I just loved the food
Vegetarian options: I'm not a vegetarian but they do have a lot of options if you are
Parking: The restaurant is in the shopping center so parking shouldn't be a issue
Kid-friendliness: I am a mom even though my kids are grown I would come here with them

First impressions are very important and long lasting. And since my first impression with this restaurant was not great this will be my last time eating here.
I made a reservation for a party of 5. We arrived promptly and was seated in the very last booth in the back of the restaurant. After waiting for about 15 minutes I got up to search for our very young server came to take our beverage order. After our drinks arrived we ordered. We were told their computer was down and we needed to fill out the sheets. Fine. We had one in our party that only wanted soup not the BBQ. We were told that because she wanted only soup everyone else would have to pay the additional $5.00 even if we only wanted BBQ. She felt badly the rest of us would have to pay more so she didn’t eat anything. The rest of us ordered the BBQ. The food was good definitely not fantastic by any stretch. The service was horrible. I must have gotten up 4 times looking for our server to ask for items. I asked him for rice, three times. He never checked on us to ask if we needed anything. We needed butter, napkins and our hot plate replaced. I finally had to get up again to find him for our bill so we could pay. When he came back with our bill he told us that their Credit Card machine was down. We had three options…1. Pay with cash 2. Walk to the nearest ATM to take out money 3. Write down our CC info and they would run it later. This was the icing on the cake. They never told us that their CC machine was down because had they told is that from the beginning and since my friend only wanted soup, we would have gone somewhere else. I was not happy and I told them so. They did nothing to make this right with us. I have been a server in the past and the customer should never leave disappointed over the service or their issues with payment devices. Overall we were very disappointed in their lack of communication and service and we will never go back.

Our server was super kind and helpful and the manager came over and said hi multiple times and even offered to help us with a problem we ran into at another location!! This is definitely our favorite Hungry Pot and we’ll be back :)

This location is simple and has all you need. The service is tip notch and attentive. The food is fresh and plentiful. The environment is clean. They are a wonderful groupd of people every time we go. There were 4 birthdays being celebrated today! It was packed and packed for a reason. If you like to venture with food and to be treated with respect and kindness...RUN don't walk to Hungry Pot in Wethersfield! You're welcome!

It was my first time having hot pot and kkbq and it was such a wonderful experience. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. My waiter was very attentive and kind with helping me and husband with options and explaining how to cook the food too. The food selection they had was very broad and nice. It was definitely a reasonable price, the atmosphere, food and staff give you more than enough for your moneys worth. They also sang happy birthday with a cute sign for a baby’s birthday and it was so adorable! 10/10 would recommend and I’d love to go back!

It was our first time going to Hot Pot after hearing so many great things about it. The staff were AMAZING! Our waiter took the time to explain how to order. Service was VERY QUICK. The atmosphere was INVITING and VERY CLEAN.

Its our first time here and we loved it .Delicious and juicy meats which are well seasoned . Prompt service. Glad to discover this place. Definitely would be back
