I visited Makris Diner today for breakfast, and while I noticed the many awards displayed on the walls, my experience was quite the opposite of what I expected.

I ordered a soda with a cup of ice, an omelet, and a side of bacon. For the omelet, I specifically asked that the vegetables and meat be folded inside rather than mixed throughout. I also requested to substitute the two standard sides with just fruit, and I was told there would be an upcharge—which I was fine with.

The first odd moment came when the waitress apologized, saying they were out of ice. A short time later, someone else brought me a cup of ice after all. When my omelet arrived, it wasn’t prepared as requested—the vegetables and meat weren’t folded in, and the dish came with potatoes I had asked not to receive. On top of that, the vegetables inside the omelet were raw, as if they hadn’t been cooked at all.

Finally, when the bill arrived, it was handwritten and difficult to read, with no itemized prices. From the total, I could tell they charged me full price for the fruit substitution.

YouTube is a good source to learn how to properly make an omelet. If a restaurant wants to justify charging all the money then consistency and quality should always come first.

I took my wife type individual here to get breakfast Sunday. We went at a traditional time, but this place actually has All-Day Breakfast as well as All-Day Lunch.
I had my usual, go-to choice of a Wild Western Omelet. It was tasty.
We want to come here again to get some great Polish food for lunch in the near future.
Our server was nice, although she kept forgetting to bring a water to the table.
It was our first time going here and it went fairly well. Not a bad first impression,..

I placed a pickup order from MAKRI’s and was really disappointed by the lack of basic essentials. I ordered an omelette and pancakes (chocolate and banana), and not only was there no salt, pepper, ketchup, or utensils included—but they also forgot maple syrup and butter for the pancakes. I also asked for two waters and didn’t receive either.

When I called to let them know, the woman on the phone told me I had to specifically ask for syrup, butter, and utensils. That just doesn’t make sense to me. I’ve never had to request syrup with pancakes or utensils with a pickup order from any diner before.

The food itself was decent, but the lack of care and customer service really soured the experience. A little common sense and customer consideration would go a long way here.

Hidden gem on the Berlin Turnpike. This diner offers a great breakfast at a reasonable price. Definitely worth checking them out.

Stopped in for brunch. I got my normal Makris classic omlette...it was excellent as usual. My Mom got the stuffed cabbage and mashed potatoes. Was so good...having my sister stop on her way to Moms house in the morning for a to go order. Time for pierogi and classic egg sandwich. Wish I lived closer. Would eat here every day.

The service was A1... Walking in felt so welcoming the greeted us as soon as we came in as if they knew us. Before we were seated they asked us what we wanted to drink then proceeded to seat us . The prices were affordable and the amount of food was great ( it was a lot) we specifically went there for the grits ... They were great... But all the meats was by far the greatest ✨... The kielbasa ... The pastrami.. and the sausage was to die for just amazing... The hostess was kind and patient (it was our first time ) she explained everything to a T. It was such a great experience... And at the end we spoke to I believe to the manager on site and she was so bubbly and kind she asked about us and told us she hope to see us again and that it was a pleasure to have us. We are deff going to become regulars... Deff worth coming if you want to enjoy a piece of home ♥️ It deff felt like home.

The breakfast I purchased from here was disgusting. The food came out in less than 3 mins after we ordered which was already a red flag, and the food taste like it was cooked at 6am and reheated to be served to me and my fiancé at 12pm. Then they charged us, $25 for scrambled eggs, homefries, and toast (2) orders. Please do not come here unless you want to eat old re-heated food.
