River: A Waterfront Restaurant and Bar

The atmosphere is great, being on the river while you eat is peaceful. The food was horrible, i had to send a whole meal back. Portions are small. The drinks were good. The bar area was nice. I definitely would not go back unless it was to hangout at the bar.

We had a great time visiting the River. Our waitress Sunny was absolutely amazing. We visited the restaurant for a birthday dinner and she did a great job making us feel special. We also stayed for a comedy show after and it was a great way to end the night. Food was great, portions were good and would definitely recommend.

Pasta portion was small for the price. Salad came out with the dinner instead of prior to main course, however because of error they did comp. On a side note the Cesar salad was outrageously overpriced.

Nice restaurant. Fish and chips: Fish was overcooked and fries were warmish and limp. Didn't see much of the waitress. Salmon was swimming in a soupy mixture with mash potatoes on the bottom. Not my favorite presentation. Very small portions but I guess that's the norm for a lot of places now.

The service was great, everyone was really friendly. But we kind of left feeling like the food was just ehh. Definitely a nice ambience outside on the patio in the spring and summer time

First time here, and the food is amazing, delicious. I do recommend.

Couldn't have been any worse of an experience if they tried. Seriously embarrassed that I brought people here. I was expecting an upscale business friendly environment. Would have been better of taking them to Friendly's. Hands down worst restaurant in the area. Food was bad and the service even worse. Then the waitress who begged us to write her a 5 star review tried to add a 25% gratuity to herself.

It's become a yearly tradition to visit for Thanksgiving and Christmas. The food and service are phenomenal. Our waitress, Trisha, was extremely attentive to our table. She took care of any special food allergy requests we had and continually came back to check up on us. Our only regret is she isn't working on Christmas when we come back. River is Lucky to have her as a waitress.
