So, I really wanted to have higher hopes for this place given that I’ve been hearing about it for a while. Some friends and I met up for dinner for the first time at the Wethersfield location. We made a reservation and showed up a few minutes early. The host was nowhere to be found, and we stood there for several minutes before she came to address to the party in front of us. When she finally noticed that our group was there, I told her we had a reservation and she said it would be about 10 minutes. I get that it’s Saturday night and it’s busy, but isn’t the point of having a reservation to get to your table on time? After we sat down, our waitress came to us and was very friendly. We ordered drinks. Overlooking the delay in our seating, the first irritating factor was that my friend ordered a drink, and it was never brought to him. When we flagged the waitress down, she did admit that she totally forgot about it, but it still took a while for her to bring it to the table. After that, we ordered our pizzas and it took an exceptionally long time for them to be brought to us. Again, it was a busy Saturday night, so a slight delay is to be expected. However, it was the fact that multiple tables that were seated well after us received their food, including multiple pizzas, before us. When we flagged the waitress down again and asked her about the status of our meal, she apologized and told us that the kitchen had finally put our pizzas into the oven. We paid extra for different toppings on our pizzas and the amount of toppings we got was laughable - Nowhere near the four dollar surcharge worth. Then our second pizza came without the toppings that we requested. We checked the receipt and, thankfully, we weren’t charged for them. The only saving grace was that the pizza tasted very good. Overall, I was left with a negative impression of the restaurant and probably won’t return anytime soon or recommend this location. Frank Pepe’s definitely keeps my vote.

Not worth the hype. My pizza was burned at the bottom. Couldn't even eat the crust because it was literally burned. Maybe I just got the bad piece. Will try the new haven one and see if they are any better. I have had better pizza for $18 so Definitely not worth the $24.

I come to this place more than i’m willing to admit and it never misses. The food is always good and the waitstaff is very kind. Emma and all the other bartenders at the bar are always spot on with the drinks! Would absolutely recommend. If you’re coming with a group def reserve ahead they get busy.

The last couple times I was in Wethersfield the food was not good. They came out with the meals at all different times. The pizza was very soggy. The pasta was awful. I thought they would start getting better. But this isn’t the case. Now I’m just going to stop and maybe try there other locations. The pizza was so good when they first opened. I’m not sure why they just comp everything. Just work on service and food.

First trip to this location and brand. Great server, very nice. Pizza was nothing but a burned taste Meatballs u can see from the photo came out burned. People behind the counter were talking more then watching the food. Very disappointed 😞

We love Sally’s. Today we made a reservation for 7 and showed up early and told Curtis Kilburn we were here early and he said that there were too many reservations and that we would not be seated before 7 o’clock, so we told him to be waiting in the bar. At 6:55 I went to check on the reservation and they had a hard time finding it because he thought that we were going to eat at the bar and totally took out our reservation. What a real jerk. I’ve been at Sallys so many times I can’t even count and I’ve never been treated like this. He didn’t even apologize. I will say the bartender was excellent and so was our waitress Laura

So delicious! You can choose to have less char on your pizza if it's not your thing fyi (and they explain this to you). A bit loud with the music, but if it's not super busy, you can hear your company just fine. The food is worth it regardless 😋
