Food was phenomenal. The server (older woman) was polite but she made us feel rushed. There for my friends birthday, the server didn't even ask if we wanted anything to drink before asking if we were ready to order. I had to tell her we wanted cocktails before ordering. It wasn't all that busy either. Other than that it was great.

Kasha was our server and she was excellent! There were 4 in my party, everyone ordered a pizza and I ordered the Chicken Francaise. The pizzas were served first and everyone was almost done by the time my plate came out. It was delicious but awkward because everyone wanted to be polite and wait for my entree to come out but I insisted they have their pizza while it was hot. The other issue was the noise level. It was very loud and you had to shout to be heard, so if you're looking to have a meaningful conversation, this is not the place. However, if you're looking for great food and service, I highly recommend!

Slow is not the word. Waited 1hr and 10 min for pizza! 20 min for beer. Looks like the kitchen can't handle the dining room and takeout on a Friday evening. Thankfully there are many other good pizza options in the area.

Big New Haven apizza guy. The pizzas were excellent. Had a pepperoni for one of the pizzas and there was less pepperoni on it than I would expect. It seems to me that the pizzas from Sally's have changed since Sally's started franchising. Sally's and Pepe's used to be almost identical, Modern had thinner crust. Now the pizza at Sally's is more like Modern, thinner crust. The large pizza has gotten smaller at Sally's and you can't get medium pizzas anymore, only small and large. They have Foxon soda but not in the 1 liter bottle size.

Always wonderful pizza and staff is phenomenal. We drive 45 minutes because it is so worth the drive.

Kasha is an asset to your restaurant, she makes it a truly enjoyable dining experience. We look forward to going back and enjoying another meal!

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The service and food were exceptional. Our server, Amber, was incredibly attentive and truly enhanced our dining experience. She provided many great suggestions and demonstrated a thorough understanding of the menu. The food arrived hot and tasted incredibly fresh, which made each bite delightful. We visited after the dinner rush, so we were able to enjoy a relaxed atmosphere. I would definitely come back again!

Food was good, service was some of the worst I've experienced and restaurant wasn't busy at the time. Waitress said she was too busy to take my order and would come back in a little while

Ordeed the fresh tomato pie-- it was excellent. yWe love the thin crust pizza and charred crust. Our server, Natasha, was personable and efficient. The music is too loud for my taste.

Been going to Sallys in New Haven for 40 years. Now that its new owners and they have multiple places its a cut below what the original was but still good. The ambiance is better but its hard to duplicate New Haven Pizza.

The pizza was basically inedible because it was so burnt. The waiter tried to tell us that's what Cole fired looks like, but this broke apart like it was in a fireplace and tasted completely nasty. $27 on a pizza that barely had the Burrata on it—mostly just sauce. It was really disappointing. Drink was dissatisfying as well.

It is unpleasant to have the music so loud that you essentially have to yell at the people in your party to hear them. And because all other tables are doing the same, it is a very unpleasant dine in experience. Lesson learned; we won't return on a Friday evening.

So, I really wanted to have higher hopes for this place given that I’ve been hearing about it for a while. Some friends and I met up for dinner for the first time at the Wethersfield location. We made a reservation and showed up a few minutes early. The host was nowhere to be found, and we stood there for several minutes before she came to address to the party in front of us. When she finally noticed that our group was there, I told her we had a reservation and she said it would be about 10 minutes. I get that it’s Saturday night and it’s busy, but isn’t the point of having a reservation to get to your table on time? After we sat down, our waitress came to us and was very friendly. We ordered drinks. Overlooking the delay in our seating, the first irritating factor was that my friend ordered a drink, and it was never brought to him. When we flagged the waitress down, she did admit that she totally forgot about it, but it still took a while for her to bring it to the table. After that, we ordered our pizzas and it took an exceptionally long time for them to be brought to us. Again, it was a busy Saturday night, so a slight delay is to be expected. However, it was the fact that multiple tables that were seated well after us received their food, including multiple pizzas, before us. When we flagged the waitress down again and asked her about the status of our meal, she apologized and told us that the kitchen had finally put our pizzas into the oven. We paid extra for different toppings on our pizzas and the amount of toppings we got was laughable - Nowhere near the four dollar surcharge worth. Then our second pizza came without the toppings that we requested. We checked the receipt and, thankfully, we weren’t charged for them. The only saving grace was that the pizza tasted very good. Overall, I was left with a negative impression of the restaurant and probably won’t return anytime soon or recommend this location. Frank Pepe’s definitely keeps my vote.

Pizza was pretty good, definitely best fresh out of the oven.

Not worth the hype. My pizza was burned at the bottom. Couldn't even eat the crust because it was literally burned. Maybe I just got the bad piece. Will try the new haven one and see if they are any better. I have had better pizza for $18 so Definitely not worth the $24.
