Now been to the original in New Haven and this satellite in Whethersfield. The original was a little better with the pies, but I could do without the waiting and the small area in New Haven. Worth it to go to Whethersfield for the better experience.
Unfortunately had a bad experience on the last visit. Very disappointed because I came with family from Florida looking forward to having New Haven New York style pizza. The eggplant dishes and pizza wasnt cooked thoroughly. Major flop on the Pizza due to too much cheese and not left in the oven long enough. Pizza was great but we didn’t have to wait the FULL 40-50 minutes the online app told us as an estimate, so when we went in about 10 minutes early hoping it would be done we ended up standing around waiting for quite a bit but it was worth it in the end for us central NY folks who don’t get a lot of New Haven style by us
