Sfizio italian kitchen

I was craving for eggplant. I searched on Google for an Italian restaurant near home, and I found Sfizio. Although you can eat in, the food is daily prepared and placed in display. The owner [lovely lady] is from Sicily, therefore the recipes are Sicilian too. She told me that when I crave for an Sicilian meal, just call a day ahead and she will kindly prepare for me. Excellent customer service.

The owner will not be bothered with you unless you’re Italian. I ordered a chicken parm that was warmed up in the microwave. Terrible quality.

It's liking walking in to little Italy. It's amazing. The food is like you were in Italy. It's a small place, but you wouldn't think so when enter. I treat myself about twice a week when I can get there in time before they close. This is real Italian. Pizza, meat, olives. Everything. It has been decades since a real Italian place has been in Wethersfield Connecticut. Get there before 5:30 PM and you will see.

Nice little lunch spot. Food is very good especially the arancini. Best around in my opinion. They have a little deli and have Italian groceries there as well. A must try.

Sfizio Italian Kitchen in Wethersfield is a great little spot. Very friendly service. Beef Cutlet sandwich came on great bread. Crunchy on the surface and soft on the inside. Pepper have just the right amount of zing. Beef cutlet is cooked perfectly and is tender. Only downside would say is the amount of beef. If they added one more layer of beef cutlet in the sandwich this would easily rival Franklin Giant Grinder's one.

I love this little Italian gem in the city!
Authentic flavors, cozy atmosphere and the warmth of true hospitality. You can really taste the love and tradition in every dish.
The owner is a lovely person: friendly, passionate and always welcoming.

Ordered a meatball sub with hot peppers and mozzarella. The meatball were delicious! The best! I can not day one bad thing about this place. This was our first time here and we will be back! And the staff were great and treated us like family. They hit it out of the ballpark ! Mangia!

Small establishment, but good food. Love the pizza, and the meatballs. The owner is very personable!

Literally blown away by the food here! I’m so happy to have found this hidden gem in Wethersfield. I tried the Chicken Cutlet sandwich and the pepperoni pizza and my goodness the freshness and flavor of both of them blew me away look at the size of the pepperoni!!!! And when I tell you I can eat their tomato sauce like soup I am not lying that is how yummy it was! And the staff is so sweet and hospitable they won me over I will now be a regular.

I discovered this little gem while searching Google for new places to eat at lunchtime. So glad I did. I called ahead to inquire about service time and the woman that answered the phone was so pleasant and happy sounding that I was already sold. We ordered a sausage and potato pizza, different Arancini's, a small sausage grinder and a few other items. Went back a few days later and ordered more Arancini's and the Margherita pizza. Everything was fantastic and freshly made. The ingredients tasted like they were home grown or from a farmers market. This place is awesome and totally an authentic Italian restaurant. We will be back. The pictures don't do the food justice.
