This is the level of genius I appreciate!! We got a delivery order and we ordered in the morning and told them we wanted it by noon and it was INCREDIBLY on time!! They do the deliveries themselves no outside company . ALSO they put the pickle in a bag so all the juice doesn’t make a mess THANK YOU also the pickles are AMAZING omg I got The Cove soooo good if I’m able to post pics I will 🥰🥰🥰🥰

My workplace has used The Cove Deli numerous times, and they are always attentive, flexible and even thoughtful with the menu. Our board and guests were very happy last evening. A delicious dinner!

Food is excellent, my favorite thing to do is support local mom and pops, but don’t get your hopes and show up only for them to close early or be on vacation. With small time dining that’s expected but … I also called and they had nothing on their voice mail that indicated they were closing and going to vacation! Ended up at Max Bibos which was down the street.

Good is very good but they always forget to include the go withs like olives.. fruit salad, etc. despite that you ordered it. Check your bags before you leave!

Food was mediocre at best fries were soggy and they can’t take an order right !! I would avoid a review but I gave them a chance to rite my wrong order because I could go right back because I was on my lunch hour, the girl said next time I come in it would be on the house I call back now they have no idea what I’m talking about. Avoid this place there are plenty of sandwiche shops With less attitude on this street , and they get your order correct.

I rarely leave reviews, but after my experience here, I felt compelled to share. From the moment we walked in, the service was inattentive and disorganized. We waited over 20 minutes just to get menus, and when our server finally approached, they seemed rushed and uninterested.

The food did not redeem the poor service. My entrée arrived lukewarm and bland, clearly not freshly prepared. My partner’s dish was overcooked and overly salty. To make matters worse, one of our side orders never arrived—and when we brought it up, the staff seemed confused and never followed up.

The ambiance, while promising on their website, turned out to be loud, cramped, and poorly maintained. Even basic cleanliness seemed to be lacking, with sticky tables and unclean cutlery.

Overall, this was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. With so many excellent restaurants in the area, I see no reason to return.

Now i’ve had bad food but i’ve never had an experience as bad as this. I heard some good things about ‘the cove deli’ in Wethersfield from some friends so going in i was hopeful. I went in around lunch and it wasn’t too busy i was greeted got a table and my drink quickly put my order in and after maybe 10-15 minutes my food was finally done i got a cheeseburger ‘the george washington’ and a cobb salad. the salad was disgusting slimy wet leaves like the salad had been sitting in the fridge for days the cheeseburger was bland and overcooked, i ended up running into the owner on my way out and he seemed a bit rude with a know it all attitude. Definitely not the kind of person you want running a deli especially if you want to see sales go up… i will most definitely not be coming back.

ordered the keeney club for take out. ingredients were fresh and balanced. service was not especially friendly, maybe they were training. it was a good stop bc I was hungry .not a lot of seating. I would return if I was in the area.

I’ve called a couple of times in the morning to place a pick-up order since they don’t have online ordering, and I find that they’re not very friendly. They could be a little more friendly to their customers. It always sounds like I’m bothering them. The food is good; they could work on the customer service aspect or get online ordering if you're too busy to pick up the phone with a friendly tone.

Charlie and I got here about 8:15 am Friday morning, ordered a few steak eggs and cheeses. Service was great, got orders to go. Prices are correct. Will be back.

We used to go to the diner down the road which recently closed and decided to try this place. After eating, I highly recommend this to anyone in the area. Excited to try lunch menu.
