We love Vito's! Everything is so fresh! My Sicilian style pizza ( thick crust) with sauce, oregano and parmesean cheese was EXCELLENT! A special touch was when we asked for the famous Biti's dipping sauce we've had in the past—- they made it for us! ( has Gorgonzola and spicy peppery taste—- it's so delicious!) the other entrees: Lemon shrimp special, lobster ravioli and chicken parm were also teriffic. Run, don't walk to Vito's Wethersfield!

Family owned and operated, 3 generations. The plate that put Vitos on the map, the Detroit style pizza, was outstanding. My wife got the eggplant parm, and we can say it was the best eggplant parm we've ever had. It's a low-key location, with great service. All the food was clearly fresh, very high quality and affordable. Will definitely be back.

A few years ago I worked at a State agency not far from here and would order a New York style pizza which was very tasty. Tonight I ordered one and it was nowhere near as good as they used to be. I found service to be absolutely terrible as well. Our waitress by name of Matilda does not seem to understand her role very well. We asked her to have the bartender make a drink with schnapps orange juice and cranberry juice and she did not even understand that schnapps was an alcohol. Finally the bartender came out and told us that they don't have schnapps. So we ordered and amaretto on the rocks and I suspect that this is not a top-shelf amaretto cuz it's not very tasty. Finally Matilda comes back and tells me that they don't have any Stella Artois we are even though it's on the menu. So far I'm not too impressed by this restaurant. Finally the pizza comes out and the waitress said oh I'll have to go get some plates and she disappears and I wait and I wait and I wait and I wait and I'll wait while my pizza is getting cold and I finally look at her and say what about our plates and oh oh oh I forgot those I'll go get them right now. Matilda also failed to provide us with a spatula to take the pizza and put it on our plates. I'm not impressed at all and this will be the last time I come into this restaurant. There is too much competition for them to have terrible service like this and food that's not very tasty and alcohol that they don't have on the bar. And the restaurant was not very busy, so they can't use that excuse.

3 of us went, it was my first time going there. The waitress was very accommodating. We ordered a meat lovers pizza 🍕. BACON, PEPPERONI, HAMBURG. Let me tell you when that pizza came to the table, I was in Awe. Looked like a piece of Artwork. Taste was unbelievable. I am very picky, and very rarely patronize a establishment twice. This pizza place will be the only one I go to from now on. We took home 3 pieces, and a real first happened. I was walking pass the kitchen, saw my roommate eating pizza at the kitchen table. Big smile on his face. He left me one slice. That's fine with me, because when the restaurant opens up, I'm going to order another pizza 🍕 today. Bottom line, if you are looking for a delicious pizza 🍕, go to Vito's Pizza House. They have been open since 1978, 46 years, should tell you something. Oh, by the way, they are closed on Wednesday.
