One of the most delicious pizzas I have ever eaten. As a Sicilian who has had pizza in Sicily and throughout Italy, Vito’s is where it’s at.

A few years ago I worked at a State agency not far from here and would order a New York style pizza which was very tasty. Tonight I ordered one and it was nowhere near as good as they used to be. I found service to be absolutely terrible as well. Our waitress by name of Matilda does not seem to understand her role very well. We asked her to have the bartender make a drink with schnapps orange juice and cranberry juice and she did not even understand that schnapps was an alcohol. Finally the bartender came out and told us that they don't have schnapps. So we ordered and amaretto on the rocks and I suspect that this is not a top-shelf amaretto cuz it's not very tasty. Finally Matilda comes back and tells me that they don't have any Stella Artois we are even though it's on the menu. So far I'm not too impressed by this restaurant. Finally the pizza comes out and the waitress said oh I'll have to go get some plates and she disappears and I wait and I wait and I wait and I wait and I'll wait while my pizza is getting cold and I finally look at her and say what about our plates and oh oh oh I forgot those I'll go get them right now. Matilda also failed to provide us with a spatula to take the pizza and put it on our plates. I'm not impressed at all and this will be the last time I come into this restaurant. There is too much competition for them to have terrible service like this and food that's not very tasty and alcohol that they don't have on the bar. And the restaurant was not very busy, so they can't use that excuse.

3 of us went, it was my first time going there. The waitress was very accommodating. We ordered a meat lovers pizza 🍕. BACON, PEPPERONI, HAMBURG. Let me tell you when that pizza came to the table, I was in Awe. Looked like a piece of Artwork. Taste was unbelievable. I am very picky, and very rarely patronize a establishment twice. This pizza place will be the only one I go to from now on. We took home 3 pieces, and a real first happened. I was walking pass the kitchen, saw my roommate eating pizza at the kitchen table. Big smile on his face. He left me one slice. That's fine with me, because when the restaurant opens up, I'm going to order another pizza 🍕 today. Bottom line, if you are looking for a delicious pizza 🍕, go to Vito's Pizza House. They have been open since 1978, 46 years, should tell you something. Oh, by the way, they are closed on Wednesday.

Easy here every Thursday when working at a place right down the street...we've had pizza amazing never soggy always hot n crispy n grinders which we always received they way we ask for them the employees are tremendously hilariously kind even the people that are having dinner and they're already there while we're waiting for our food are hilarious and kind and will ask you to join in on their phone put unfortunately were normally picking up ticket back to work but if you're looking for an amazing little corner special spot to go Beatles Wethersfield Silas Deane Highway prices are amazing food is always fresh people and customers are always kind water Hidden Gem

Wheelchair accessibility: We've always had lunch and dinner and of course they were both amazing not working at the place down the street anymore but we drive from Cromwell to go to Vito's weathers shiel field Silas Deane Highway it's a hidden little GEM IN A CORNER my name is Mary Rubino and I will brag about vitos forever you guys always have the freshest of the fresh and when you call for a roast beef grinder they won't lie to you they'll tell you if it's rare medium rare or well done and I like mine medium and they have it Vito's rules!!! And so do the people that work there thank you so much Vitos for all the kindness you give to everyone that comes in and out the door

First time ever eating at Vito's. We started with fried calamari and fried mozzarella sticks. Calimarin was way over cooked and the mozzarella sticks were very greasy.

I ordered the Shrimp Putenesca and she ordered penne pasta with pesto and grilled chicken. The Putenesca was full of large chopped veggies including huge chunks of garlic, canned cherry peppers, red onion and bland tomato with the skins on. There were still stems on a pepper and a large green stem from something. Overall it was nothing like a normal Putenesca and not in a good way.

My wife's pasta had maybe 6 bite size pieces of chicken and there was so much pesto it was swimming in oil.

The only good part of the meal was the Sam Adams beer.

We had a wonderful meal. I had chicken pram and it was really good. Service was very good and the prices were not expensive. We will definitely come back.

Lovely atmosphere! Quite slice of Italy. Friendly and welcoming staff, the food was excellent!! I had pasta in meat sauce, pasta in class, pizza, bread rolls and fococca bread was perfect 🥰 our waitress was awesome gave great advice on what to order and checked with us alot to make sure everything was going well. We will be coming back for more! Thanks
