meh - at best. 2nd time we stopped in- again no guacamole which is lame, the girl working who barely looked up from her phone said - "the owners didn't feel like making it today....?" i doubt that's true but like - whatttt?! the birria tacos were good - though needed way more cilantro- the fish tacos no dice, the taquitos and street corn were inedible. we won't be back. had high hopes. place was not busy and it was clean. beyond that - skip it.

As a Californian transplant, the quest for authentic, soul-satisfying tacos outside the Golden State often feels like a culinary odyssey. However, my latest discovery has not only ended my search but has elevated my expectations for what tacos can be. This hidden gem serves up a trio of tacos - asada, carnitas, and birria - each more delightful than the last. The birria tacos are a revelation, paired with the best consommé of my life - rich, flavorful, and utterly soul-warming. The asada tacos come next, boasting a flavor so intense and fulfilling, complemented by a handmade tortilla that's soft yet durable, encapsulating the essence of artisanal craftsmanship. But what really sets this place apart is its dedication to detail and quality in every dish, including their drinks. The hibiscus margarita was a standout, striking a perfect balance between the robust, fruity notes of hibiscus and the smooth blend of the cocktail, making it a must-try. Not to be overlooked, the Elote was another surprise. It's seasoned with a chile powder that's all about flavor without the heat, proving that spice isn't just about the burn but the taste it brings to the table. In a landscape far from the taco trucks of California, this restaurant is a beacon of hope for those in pursuit of authentic Mexican cuisine. It's a place where every bite tells a story of tradition, passion, and culinary excellence. A must-visit for any taco aficionado or anyone looking to experience the true essence of Mexican street food at its finest.

I don’t like to write reviews unless it was bad so others know where NOT to go me and my boyfriend started with margaritas they are premade frozen and were so strong you could barley sip them of course you would want a stronger margarita then weak but I mean unbearably strong then we got taquitos that’s had so much lettuce in them you literally had to dig through to find them we both got pork and steak tacos the pork tacos were so salty it was hard to swallow them then the steak was bland and the tortillas are so thick and doughy still would never come back

I love this tiny little fact shop. The decoration on the inside is amazing, and gives a nice modern elite feeling. The menu is filled with tons of great options. But I really only go there for the birria tacos. You get three fresh and hot tacos. With an amazing sauce. I love this place. I would recommend it to anyone who as for where to eat in willimantic or where to eat in general. My favorite taco shop and Mexican food shop in general.Kid-friendliness: I don’t remember seeing any alcohol out in the open, and I don’t remember them playing any music with bad language.Wheelchair accessibility: I saw a ramp on the outside of the building and a wheelchair lifter if I’m not mistaken. But the main eating area is upstairs and I don’t remember there being an elevator or chat lift to help people get up the stairs.

Hi Im A Flying Person

This is a cute small place in Willimantic. I came here with my boyfriend back in October. We both got Birria Tacos. It was okay, it‘s just that the tacos were so bland. I was so disappointed :( There‘s outdoor seating which is nice. The employees are nice and our food came out pretty fast. Good service.
