This food is amazing! I'm blown away, it's like the aurora borealis of food. I got the queso birria and a horchata to drink. Everything was outstanding. Thank you so much! I can only imagine the amount of care that goes into making these meals

Hands down best tacos in Willimantic, CT. The staff are all friendly and nice. The tacos, salsa, chicharrones and horchata are made fresh. Made my tummy smile. We haven't had good tacos in a while. We'll be back!

The quesa birra tacos are absolutely delicious! Flavors are rich, well balanced - consommé is some of the best I’ve had nationwide! Staff is wonderful too.

Authentic flavors on several dishes we tried.Service was personal and attentive. The only comment is about the place felt a bit disorganized, but I guess that added to the authentic feel of it.Food was presented beautifully and good quantity. It felt fresh in all things we ordered. Will be Back.

I love the shrimp soup, the consomé, the tacos, the sauces and spices that are available for sale , chorizos, peppers, aguas frescas. The sauces are amazing. You can't miss this spot authentically Mexican. No taco bell
We stopped in for a quick lunch. We tried the carne asada tacos & the birria tacos. Both were delicious. We had never tried the birria as lamb before, so that was interesting, but good. Everywhere else had served beef birria. It's a small spot, but service was speedy & food was authentic.

Taqueria Cordoba has been on my list of restaurants to try in Willimantic for a while. This restaurant does a very brisk takeout business and it was time to find out why. I visited for lunch on a Saturday afternoon with my mother-in-law. We both ordered Taco Special tacos which is a 50 cent up charge from the basic tacos, but includes all of the fixings one wants on a taco: cheese, lettuce, tomato, diced onions, cilantro, avocado. I had a taco with lamb and one with steak. My mother-in-law had pork and chicken as her meat choices. We both found the meat to be tasty yet covered in grease that dripped from our tacos and all over our hands. Overall, this restaurant is small. When you walk in there is a counter to the immediate left that has takeout menus and the register. Cash and credit cards are accepted. There is a very cluttered area next to the register counter that looks like additional storage for dry goods and other items. There are a total of six tables. Four four tops and two six tops. Towards the back of the dining area are two coolers. The cooler on the left has beverages. The cooler on the right appeared to contain food items for sale. Beyond the coolers are the kitchen to the left and bathrooms to the right. We had an overall pleasant experience with the staff and dining-in at Cordoba's. I would recommend others give the food here a try.
