Hilltop Restaurant Bar & Banquet

I bought a banquet room for my sister in laws wedding party. I was sorta disappointed with it. There were napkins under multiple tables to level them out (ew). I think some money and man power needs to go into improving the appearance of the room itself. It maybe have just had been the lack of table cloths. Then no organization, I had asked Jess in advance about the table clothes and she said they would have them and I came the day an hour before hand and it wasn’t possible. That’s okay I bought some table runners and made do, but If I’m looking to pay 1200 for a party I don’t expect to have to ask for table clothes… or “request them”. The food itself however was delicious and Sofia gave great service and I do appreciate all the hard work.

We have been patrons of hilltop since they opened. We were there the day before Mother’s Day and ordered a couple of the same dishes we have had before. The price of each had gone up $4 each and smaller portion. Our server didn’t have a smile nor did she return to check our meal until over 20 minutes later. Then when the check arrived it had an additional 20% automatic tip built into the total then another spot for an additional tip. We have never seen that before on a 2top table. Not going back unless the adjust that.
We are not bad tippers either. We believe she was over tipped that day for the service we received

The bar area was dirty. Tables not cleared. Took 45 minutes to get food.

We go here frequently because it is close by, and we think it is always good. The food is higher end than other Italian American restaurants in the area. Their pizza is great too - not necessarily what you would expect out of a place that also has good entrees. I like how they have a good sized garden behind the restaurant where it looks like they grow a lot of their own herbs. It is a decent place to take the kids too. The bar is usually busier than the dining room, with live music too. I'd recommend giving it a try.

Our third Mother’s Day it was wonderful. Great service food excellent no one rushed our family. The weather cooperated so we were outside and it was beautiful.

This place is great, definitely more than 4.1 stars. They do limited menus for big holidays like Valentine's Day, and do seasonal menus as well. Best restaurant I've found in a long time. Going tonight.
