Everything about this place is great! Breakfast is delicious, and the portions are abundant. Dinner dishes are a must-try! Cocktails are great, the staff is very friendly, and always ready to help. I'll definitely be coming here more often; this place is becoming one of my favorites!

Overpriced and food forgettable. Atmosphere in bar area ridiculously loud, like a dive bar where you have to shout at the person you’re with. Service terribly slow. No Happy Hour on Friday, even though we called ahead and were told yes, they do have Happy Hour today. Will not be back.

Stopped by the other day after a friends recommendation. This place did not disappoint. Great service, plenty of room, nice atmosphere and the cajun salmon over rice was incredible!Parking: Plenty of parking all around the building.Wheelchair accessibility: Nice wide handicapped parking spots, ramp around the side for easy access.

Just had lunch in the bar. Mi-Mi took care of us.super friendly and attentive.The food was excellent as always. There were plenty of specials to choose from. The Christmas music was playing, the rooms were decorated. And the seasonal drink options were excellent. The peppermint mocha martini was yummy. Well done. We’ll definitely be back.

My wife and I went here with my father in law and his brother for dinner. The atmosphere of the place gives me the vibe of an event hall more so than a restaurant. I imagine they probably do great parties and events in that space. The food is a bit pricey, but the quality and portions are excellent. We all had different pasta dishes and they were all very good. The veal parmesian was amazing, and even their chicken and broccoli alfredo was great, even though a lot of places tend to phone in simple dishes like that. We all ended up with at least one more large meals worth of food each (you definitely get your money's worth) after eating our fill and we all WANTED to take our leftovers home rather than just feeling obligated to because of the size of the portions or price. I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a good dinner and have some time and are willing to pay a little more than a standard restaurant.

I can’t say enough positive things about Hilltop Restaurant. I have eaten there many times and I always find the food and the atmosphere extremely enjoyable. On most occasions Jessica has been our waitress. She is outstanding! Personable, accommodating and extremely efficient.
A great find in Eastern Connecticut (actually multiple friends and family had recommended it). Big outdoor patio. Plenty of space overall.

Hilltop is the greatest restaurant/bar in Connecticut. The service and food is something you cannot get anywhere else in this state. I highly recommend you try the house special pizza, you will not regret it. Also the bar there is amazing, great food/drinks and people - I had a great time.

2nd time trying and 2nd time the same exact experience. Terrible. They have live music so we went to have dinner, drinks and watch live music.The band was great both times. So whoever books the bands bravo.However the food was average at best and for the price point I expected more. The service was rude. Seriously how is everyone that works in this place at all times always seem to be in a terrible mood and agitated?The only redeeming value was the feeling of nostalgia of my younger years of going into dive bars in NYC and getting treated like dirt, having watered down drinks, stale beer all to hear a cool band play.I might return to see a band play but will return with my stomach already full and smuggle in my own booze like it’s 1996 again. “FREEBIRD”!!!!!!!
