Cactus Rose Restaurant & Tequila Bar

I was really excited to try this restaurant because of the good reviews. The moment I got there with my husband, he opened the door for me to enter the place and a waiter, without anything on his hands, thinks we the customers need to wait for him to go first instead of the other way around. Instead of him saying “thank you” because my husband basically open the door for him, he says “excuse me” with a very rude attitude. I don’t spend my money on places like this. I didn’t like the ambiance and the food look awful so before someone came to give us a table, we left.

For the waiters, if you are expecting a 20% + tip, you need to actually provide a good customer service. For the restaurant, if you pretend to charge $30 + for a plate, the quality of your food needs to justify the price.

I wouldn’t recommend this places at all. All the good reviews are probably fake.

Always have a great experience whether with friends, family, or date night. Drinks rarely disappoint and the food is creative and delicious. Recommend the stuffed figs app - awesome flavor pairings. You can order a few apps to share and be very satisfied.

I never had a bad experience here. The "fusion" aspect definitely delivers it from typical Mexican food with really bold and vibrant flavors. I just recently went for lunch again and everything was exceptional including the service.

I love this place! The vibe is awesome. The artwork is incredible and the drinks and food are delicious! If you haven’t been, you definitely need to check it out. I had my bridal shower here and I’ve attended other events at the location, love it!

We like the atmosphere. Dried in on a Saturday evening without a reservation; no problem. Great server Jeramie. The tab was $98.23 before tip for one order of guacamole, one steak frittes, two margaritas, and a diet Coke. We enjoyed the service, food, and atmosphere. We don't get out much, but thought it was a little pricey.

Bougie Overpriced Tiny Portions. The food is meh. Spent $70 on appetizers for 2 ppl and was still hungry. The calimari was like rubber and had a horrible Mexican fusion sauce served with it that was disgusting! Avoid if you’re hungry or poor.

Had my wife birthday party. It was an excellent and fantastic time. the food was delicious and full of flavor. Ambiance is perfect. Everyone had a blast. Must visit this place. Highly recommend for all to enjoy, great food and drinks.

We discovered this new great restaurant where the food was excelente, the drinks were perfect but best of all was the service provided specially by Julian and Maria the owner that made us feel so special and welcomed, we're definitely coming back to this place for more very good times!

We were sat at a table for two right in the walk way between the indoor outdoor seating and waiters kept brushing past us as we were trying to have a quiet dinner. Felt like we got stuck in the airplane seats next to the bathroom entrance. The restaurant was only half full so we asked to be moved. The response was quite rude stating it’s a restaurant, so it’s expected to be a busy place and seemed put out that we even made the request. Food was average. Probably will not go back.
