I stopped here on my way through CT. It's one of the closest restaurants to 15. The food portions are huge so you really get your money's worth. The shrimp Tempura appetizer has the same sauce as walnut shrimp. The food is good. The service is swift and good. However, I received a dirty fork and a dirty cup. The server was very apologetic and replaced both but that left me wondering what else is dirty.
I am in Wilton Connecticut for business and came here with a coworker. We both got lunch specials. He got house special fried rice (beef, chicken, and shrimp) and wonton soup and also an egg roll. I ordered sweet and sour chicken with fried rice and an egg roll. Just based on the egg roll alone, Hunan Cafe is definitely worth a visit. This is probably my current go-to Asian restaurant when I am not sure where else to go. The food is all very good, I usually get the Fried Dumplings or Crab Rangoon as an appetizer and the General Tso's Chicken as the main course. Both are very yummy!There's plenty of seating inside the restaurant and the staff is friendly too. I always leave completely full!
