The total.for.our food was nearly $100, which is not bad in today's economy. However, while served hot, the food was so so. The real disappointment was the service, which was almost nonexistent. Our server did not come by to ask if the food was to our liking, which was disapointing because the restaurant was not that busy. We had to ask for our bill a few times and wait to have the payment processed.
Oh I wanted to like Marley’s and have it be our go-to neighborhood spot, but the food was not good. The kids tenders were extremely greasy, the mashed potatoes were flavorless, there was zero chance that the Kobe beef sliders were actually Kobe beef. On top of that they were over cooked and about the smallest sized sliders I’ve ever had (there was more bun than burger). We recently visited for lunch and were pleased to experience immediate seating. I selected the Blue Burger, while my companion opted for the Fish and Chips.
The burger was a generous size and was cooked to order. While I would have preferred a slightly more cheese, the overall taste was excellent.
The Fish and Chips featured Sole, a departure from the traditional Cod. The fish was delicate, flaky, with a melt-in-your-mouth quality.
