First time getting food from Mazatlan. Overall I'm not happy about my experience. I'm hoping this review will help the restaurant to step it up. Here is my experience. I went to order food takeout and went to the online ordering selection. The burrito bowl option on all except GrubHub are charging for items that are included in the menu item like vegetables and protein. Also there is a selection for beans and rice. The bowl comes with black beans. I thought maybe they are giveing fancy beans in addition to the ones included. I tried ordering by calling the restaurant, but their phone wasn't working. I ended up placing an order for pickup through GrubHub. I asked for extra tortillas for my fajitas. When my wife got there she was told it would be $4 for 4 tortillas. These are four mini tortillas. I don't mind paying extra but a $1 each? My wife ended up saying no. Guess what I was missing from m the order when I got home? My tortillas. None were included with my meal. Also my wife doesn't eat meat and ended up with the fancy beans I selected but no black beans. I have three little ones at home so it's not convenient for me to run out again. Very disappointing for my first visit. Please do better. Also, if it were my restaurant I would have take out menus available as soon as I open or shortly after and I would test the online ordering systems for accuracy before going live! I give 4 stars for the food. I can't comment on atmosphere or service since I ordered takeout.

I was there with a group of 7 for lunch on a Tuesday. The food was amazing! 5 had chimichangas, one had a burrito bowl and I had chicken fajitas. We were all impressed with the size of the portions and quality of food. One had a margarita and 4 coffees. All excellent. We shared a dessert combo. The total bill for 7 with desserts and drinks was just under $200. We are all making plans to visit again. I had fajita leftovers for dinner and still have enough for a 3rd meal.
