I only go to Moonstar for my Chinese food. I like the owner, the food is great.

Broccoli was covered in black spots as shown in this picture. Felt sick immediately after eating. I did not catch this until I had already eaten much of the dish already.
A little pricey but good. New owners the food taste a little better than before
My rating reflects my most recent order on Jan 6; up to this point, their food has been good. However, they had a sign stating the restaurant was under new management. I don't know if that is why the General Tso's chicken was bad, but it was easily the worst I have ever had. The menu states that is it hot, but it was nothing but sweet. Maybe they just forgot an ingredient, but I won't be chancing this place again.

They are in the process of changing management, so I hope they have same staff and don't change much since this is my favorite Chinese restaurant I have tried in the area. While others have had skyrocketing prices, they have maintained similar prices with large portions. Great place if you are looking for healthier family friendly options with fresh vegetables like snow peas, broccoli, bok choy etc. And very friendly staff who remember their customers.
First, the negative reviews are puzzling. The new menu pricing is at least 2 months old and lists the half chicken at $9.95. All restaurants have raised prices since costs have skyrocketed.Second, the portions are generous. Their roast pork dishes are quality. We've had it in many types of dishes. The lady who takes your order is efficient and friendly. She's made changes for us willingly. What is described as abrupt is trying to get your order to the Cook who can begin to prepare it for you so you can pick it up quickly. Items are fresh and sometimes they sell out. That indicates a turnover of ingredients so every dish is fresh. There are different styles of Chinese cooking depending upon the region. It's like those in New England complain about the pizza served in other areas of the country.Different doesn't mean wrong. We also visit other restaurants but tend to go back to Moon Star.
Best Chinese in town!!!
Don’t even try ??
I know inflation is high but this prices are ridiculous!!!!
