Saw the reviews and decided to take a shot for an after work meal...OMG!! I got the philly stake and cheese, and added lettuce, black olives with no extra charge.. for less $14 this is what i got, two meals easy.. and that happy belly feeling afer i ate half... Taste was absolutely the best.. my go to grinder joint now, for after work!! Well 2nd friday night at the 2nd Poquonick,, I opted for the pastrami grinder, as you can see 2 meals again, meat was fresh and tender... this grinder joint is a hidden gem.. ill be eatin their grinders most friday nights and take a shot at a small pizza, in the future...

Their food is delicious I had a party pizza from there and chicken and rice sorry I forgot to take a pic of the pizza the only thing is the rice was a little dry if they put vegetables with the chicken and rice done like street corn or broccoli and put butter in the rice it would be 10?s so I give a 9 on the chicken and rice for 11$ they could have put vegetables!

Delicious grinders! Excellent roast beef (my favorite cold grinder), and meatball grinder (my favorite hot grinder)! Also enjoy the tuna, turkey, and chicken parm grinders. Large, generous servings, and friendly service. Have been coming here since I was a young adult and have always enjoyed their food! My go-to, favorite takeout place for grinders.

They have the BESTEST heated Combo grinder (coldcut)..in fact we been coming here ever since the 80s (traveling all the way from Holyoke mall area in Massachusetts...over the years we've enjoyed the chicken n potato wedges..the pizza n the meatball grinders..the owners are wonderful people and the staff very nice.So many choices of great food n beverages n chips there's something for everyone. Plenty of seating.Ample parking lot .
I drive trucks over the road ive ate in every town you can think of in America this place right here is definitely the spot to go to I highly recommend this place the grinder i had beef and the pasta was made with god hands? 10/10

I and my colleague were amazed about the warming welcoming and loving service of Mr Fazza.We are pilots and being Thanksgiving day away from home with very few options open, we passed by and we saw the lights on. We came inside and the place was empty. Suddenly Mr Fazza came and said hello!!I asked: hello are you open? He reply No and Yes. I can prep cold sandwiches. My friend wanted hot food, so Mr Fazza said I will cook a pizza for you…. That is amazing hospitality.He was there in his restaurant cooking turkeys for his Thanksgiving dinner. His friends and family started to show up, and we joined pleasant conversations.He is a Vietnam VetHe has a great place, old fashioned.He is a great gentlemanHe is an example of being a hard working but among all of this adjectives HE IS HUMAN.Andres & Bruno.

Gyro good; pizza okay. The sausage grinder was deep fried to death garbage and not edible. Would have returned it to demand money back but it was late and we were already in our pajamas. Never waste money there again.

We found this place online and it’s not too far from home, so we decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, it’s just okay. The grinders were definitely big, but my chicken parm was dry and most of the cheese stuck to the paper. My husband ordered a steak and cheese and he liked it, but both DAngelos and Valley Pizza are better. I will say the service is outstanding. We witnessed another customer behaving like a total Karen, and both staff members were very kind and remade her whole order.

Got two grinders, chix cutlet and sausage both in the oven, when I got home and checked them both grinder rolls were burned and the chicken was dry and the sausage tasted like it was old and left out from the night before. Very disappointed because the place was highly recommended, never again. I will be going back to H&M grinders down the street where I know that the food is fresh and delicious not like second poquonock giant grinder.
