The staff was great kept a smile on your face
Was recommended to try the fish and chip.....ON POINT! The family got hotdogs, cheese burgers, onion rings, chicken tenders,fries everything was great and for a good price! Just wish I had room for a milkshake. Next time for sure

I usually make a stop at Skooter’s when I’m flying out of BDL — there’s nothing like a classic diner experience paired with heaping portions and attentive service. It’s a seat yourself kind of joint (which I seem to forget every time and end up standing for a minute or two looking confused before someone on the wait staff mercifully asks if I want to take a seat or get food to go). As an aside, their milkshakes run thick rather than thin which makes them positively delightful.

The atmosphere in this diner is so welcoming I would 100% come back. I was greeted by a kind gentleman name Joe and he honestly made my experience at the restaurant perfect! Joe knows how to make the restaurant lively with his jokes and stories! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others just so they could experience this man’s kindness and overall great services

My favorite stop when going to the airport. AM or PM I'm getting the cheeseburgers. They cook fast and do something magical to the buns on the griddle! They also have fresh made onion rings too! It's been a few days and I want to go back!

Decided to check out Skooter’s and it didn’t disappoint. From someone who is visiting from out of state this place is great! I had the corned beef, scrambled eggs and home fries and white toast with an hot chocolate. My server was great and the cook did an amazing job he was very quick on getting my food out and next thing I had it right in front of me. I was able to get seating pretty quick since it was just me but everything from start to finish was very welcoming. Was really affordable as well. If you’re visiting or in the Hartford area give them a try, you won’t be disappointed!

Cute little retro diner. Blt was excellent, ample mayo and fresh tomatoes. My sister enjoyed the corned beef hash breakfast. Our waiter was great, very chatty and had lots of jokes. A good place to stop if you need to kill time before a flight, or if you're in need of a meal after your flight arrives.
