Pretty unassuming on the outside - great food on the I side. Breakfast bowl was great - spicy, but not overwhelming. Only complaint was there was too much. Friendly service too.

So I looked at the reviews and gave them a shot. I ordered the hash and eggs. I have to say this was the worst breakfast I have ever ordered in my life. It was so bad I had to throw it out and I usually can power thru anything. My order was pick up. The toast was so soggy it was like it soaked in a bowl of water. I added an extra egg but only received 2. The hash was awful some of it was almost white in color, not pink or red.

My cousin introduced me to this place. I'm from Ellington... I have found my new favorite place. Staff is great! The waitress was very accommodating and friendly. Food was great! Already been back a few times.

If you're a pancake lover like me, this is the place for you. The pancakes are a order of 3 the size of a dinner plate, plain or fresh fruit also specialty pancakes of blueberry and banana walnut.

Best corned, beef hash i've had in forever. The place was pretty clean. The waitress had her hands full answering phones, waiting all tables, checkimg patrons out, and bussing too, but did a great job all while being pleasant.
Didn't care much for the yelling at staff in the kitchen....

If hours of operation go until 12 PM why is staff not answering the phone from 10:30 onwards? Only one person capable of picking up a phone? Cook doesn’t want to cook last hour and a half of the day? Most simple concept, pick up the phone or lose business

One of my favorite places to go! My family and I frequent this spot often enough to say it’s a favorite indeed. I like the portions, I’m always taking some home which is always a bonus. The food tastes good, the staff is friendly and welcoming. I only wish I could go more often for breakfast. I have fond memory here. May be hidden but it is a total gem!

If you’re anywhere near this small town and don’t stop at this gem of a breakfast and lunch spot, you’re seriously missing out. Their corned beef hash, egg, and cheese sandwich is hands-down the best I’ve ever had—crispy, savory, perfectly seasoned, and somehow even better every time I order it.

The staff is always friendly and welcoming, the food comes out hot and fast, and the vibe is exactly what you’d want from a local spot: cozy, casual, and clearly loved by the community.

Whether you’re grabbing a quick breakfast sandwich on the go or sitting down for a laid-back lunch, you can’t go wrong here. They’ve got the kind of consistency that keeps you coming back—and trust me, I’ll be back again and again.

Five stars, easily.

Great selections for breakfast. Went two days in a row. Good service, pleasant atmosphere. Seemed like a lot of locals were there which is always a good sign. The hash was excellent - obviously homemade, not the premade style you typically find. The French toast was also very good.

Older lady Owner buts into out convdrsation between me and a friend and was very out of line. When i include her in OUR conversation and offer her proof on my phone for something rhat was none of her business a typical shutdown response happens. She took her ball and we left after it taking about 20 minutes to get a soda. If you are going to but into patrons conversations because your life is so dull make sure to be correct at least. Clearly this is why your business is failing not the egg inflation. Go next door to Krauzers they are always nice and gracious cheaper and great Sandwichs. .

Unfortunately, it seems due to staffing, this diner has gone downhill. I went with my son for an early breakfast before school. His hot chocolate was fine, food came pretty quick. He had a breakfast sandwich, I had French toast with a side of bacon and home fries that I got with onion. First off, my bacon was ICE cold. Completely cold. Not a hint of warmth. French toast was barely that, the batter didn’t even get a chance to soak through the very outside of the bread. It was just bread with an eggy essence. Potatoes were cooked but didn’t look it, onions pretty much raw. The worst offense though was the roll for my son’s sandwich had mold on it. Really unfortunate. Price was good…
