Stopped for breakfast before a flight. Service was great and food was fast out of the kitchen. Small town diner feel with many locals in and out.I judge every breakfast spot on three things: coffee(7.3), home fries (6.1) and pancakes(6.0). Coffee was as expected, but fresh. Potatoes were grilled and seasoned but needed a lot more cook time. Pancake was cooked dark on one side and barely on the other making it rubbery.Overall we were satisfied with our food and will definitely stop again before a flight out of BDL

Good service, loved the homemade hash. A solid old school breakfast place, better than a chain.

So being new to this establishment I will say it’s soooooo good! Had the Ruben, dynamite , when the sandwich like this is as messy as this you know it’s going to be excellent. Next I had the burger, OMG, huge and ?. Then lastly, the egg, bacon, and cheese sandwich, again huuuge! Great job to the staff and keep it up as I will be coming again and again, thank you ?

Was very disappointed with the food. I asked the waitress if they could make me a "cornbread hash benedict" which was not on the menu. What I was served was an egg omelet over hash. With toast on the side and very undercooked homefries that had no flavor. Will not be going back, when there are so many better options in the area for breakfast.

The worst experience ever!! I was so ready to try this place despite the negative reviews that were made. I needed to find out for myself. My husband and I got there at 10:45, 45 minutes later our order was never taken along with another couple who just got there after us. The staff just wiped other tables down, waited on one table on the left side, stood at the desk doing absolutely NOTHING! It wasn't packed. They had 3 cooks on site . Again it wasn't packed! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AT THIS PLACE BECAUSE THEY WILL WASTE YOUR TIME DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. BBB ijs.

Out of the way early morning place by the airport. Local vibe. Good service with some surprises. Known for their pancakes!

I ordered a short stack of pancakes with a side of sausage... whatever the pancakes were cooked in made them taste heavy and oily, and not fresh oil either. The hash was overly salty, and greasy. The breakfast potatoes were only so-so. My coffee was the only "good" part of my breakfast.

Food was pretty good. Bacon egg and cheese was giant and delicious. Home fries were weird and seemed under cooked. Service was slow, with only two tables in the whole resturant and two servers, seemed weird to get bad service. I'm a server so I understand things happen but if there was two of us at 11am on a weekday with only two other tables I would give great service. The kitchen manager (so he seemed) noticed customers had to come up to the counter to get things or order more. Wouldn't go back and wouldn't recommend other then to order ahead and pick up.

A little concerned about the Windsor Locks location and whether it’s friendly to all people. Military friends of mine of Latin decent went in recently for breakfast and waited to be served for quite a bit of time. The people that came in after them were immediately sat down and given their drink orders. While my friends have yet to be spoken to. Eye contacts were made with several staff to try and get their attention. but no service. My friends then took the hint and left.

Pancakes were tasty and on the large side. Not listed on the menu, but my server asked if I wanted 1, 2, or 3 pancakes, with a specific price for each. The menu just listed stacks of 3. The server was pretty friendly with the other patrons, too. I waited a little longer to order than I would have thought by looking at the density of diners in the restaurant, but it is what it is.Kid-friendliness: Another patron brought in a little child. The server was very friendly and offered to draw a picture on his pancake with whipped cream. Kid seemed happy. Sweet to watch.

The omelette was really good. My hash browns were burnt though, and so were my toasts. The waitress did her best to be prompt, but the place was packed and she was pretty busy. However, she did a good job.

Tried to eat breakfast there and sat there 15 minutes at the bar area on the right side. Could not get service from the older gal working that side. She said there were two tables in front of me. As she keeps doing other stuff instead of taking orders. I watched a guy at the bar next to me, come in, and get services right away. So i left. If you go there, avoid the right side if possible.

I visited this restaurant again a few weeks ago and everything was perfect this time. I ordered the same thing that I ordered in my previous terrible review but it was a completely different experience, so I'm glad I gave them another chance. The service was also excellent again.

Extremely pleasant staff and very good breakfast meals. I frequently come here with 2 of my old friends for breakfast and conversation. The meals are well-prepared, tasty, served hot and fairly quickly. We have never felt rushed and always left quite satisfied.
