Debbie is the sweetest. She checked up while I was waiting, eating, etc, while tending the bar. When I confessed I was not a fan of what I ordered, she took it upon herself to make it better in 20 different ways. Thanks, Debbie! And the cook, whose name I did not get.

From out of town, stopped here while staying down the road. The website says something about "Treating everyone like family", and that is no lie! We were nervous on a Friday night with the bar side packed, but the other side had plenty of room! Our server was awesome, so kind and helpful! Definitely worth a stop for a drink and a bite! Highly recommend the Brussel Sprouts!!!

This is the first restaurant my wife and I ate at in CT. Stopped in because I seen online they offered a gluten free bun. Sadly they no longer had a gf bread option. However! The entire experience was outstanding! The staff were so very kind and attentive! We were really grateful for the hospitality after a very long day on the road. I got the chicken sandwich without a bun and it was incredibly delicious! The chicken was huge and so flavorful! My wife had the corned beef egg rolls which are house made and they were super delicious! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!

What a great night! I searched restaurants near the Hartford airport and this one popped up. It was so cute with tons of character just on the outside alone. I knew I had to try it. I walked into the dining area and ended up sitting in the next room at the bar. It was trivia night and the place was packed. Three seats opened up at the bar and I sat down. I was from out of town and I believe I sat next to the only other guy that wasn’t a local. Debbie behind the bar, introduced herself and handed me the menu. I knew what I wanted to drink so she poured me a glass and waited for me to make my decision on the meal. There were several specials on the board and that is what I chose. Caprese salad and some coconut shrimp . Not to long after another patron came through the door and sat down beside me. He has been coming there for 20 years and he made sure it’s introduce me to everyone and explain what was going on and a little bit of the history of the place
I’m so glad I found it , I love supporting all the local places. You should give it a try.

Cool hole in the wall pub. Brief menu, but good choices. The brussel sprouts were great, and the burger was on point. Good value for $$
The Hungry Rhino is our favorite hidden gem restaurant / bar. The food is consistent, flavorful, and the portions are no joke. Rosie is awesome and an absolute pleasure with fabulous pants! 10/10 recommend

We are rarely up in this area because we live an hour and a half away, but it looked cute so we figured we would try it. Immediately the bartender gave us an attitude because we wanted to sit outside. My friend has MS and it was too hot inside… but instead she gave us a hard time and said we would have to wait on ourselves? Wth does that even mean? And why have outdoor seating if it’s not an Option? She was super nice to an apparent regular though. We got charged $4 for chicken on the nachos and there was literally 3 pieces of chicken on it lol. Burgers were super greasy and the menu prices didn’t match what we were charged. Definitely won’t be back.
