IMHO, this place is up there with one of the neatest "local bars" around. It has a nice feel, and is spacious, and is a very fun experience. I know this is so gauche, but the staff makes you feel like Friends! Even better; the food is good! The draft beer is cold and the Guinness is poured correctly. The Corned Beef Egg Rolls are a “must try” and the pretzel’s and burgers are very nice. What more can one hope for? Highly recommended to anyone in the surrounding towns and well worth a detour off I-91 on your ski trip or leaf peeping or wherever your travels might be.

What a diamond in the Rough! He food is Awesome!!!! Chef Andrew is turning out awesome food. Robin the bartender makes you feel like you are at home! I can not say more for this restaurant accept YOU have to try it!!!

We stopped in on a Wednesday for dinner and it was quiet, but had a great "locals love it here" vibe to it. We sat at the bar and had plenty of opportunities to chat with Janet who is an absolute gem! I had the wings in buffalo sauce which were great (could've been kept down in the fryer a bit longer, but were otherwise tender and flavorful).. I was able to get all flats for an extra charge which I'm totally willing to pay as that is my preference. My boyfriend had the Southwest burger which was delicious and a perfectly cooked medium rare. The fries that came with the burger were really good as well. If you are looking for a no-frills place with great food and company, look no further than the Hungry Rhino!

Local grill food. Met friends there as we were heading to Bradley airport for a trip. Convenient to 91. Good hamburger and fries. Not an extensive menu - but served the purpose. Staff friendly and service was good.

I would give 0 stars if possible based on the bartender. But I won't. About a year or two ago, I Was insulted by the blonde bartender repeatedly, who was a slob to begin with. She was trying to be funny, but she was too busy sweating mayonnaise to get real shots in. In fact, went there once with my ex, and as we were leaving the slob asked if my ex would mind if someone else finished her mixed drink (which was fine). But like, why not just give it to the drunk she was handing it to and not make a big deal? Welcome to the Locks! Owner and her son are nice enough, but hopefully this trash is now gone. I'd be happy to go back if she's not there and re-rate. I hate doing this, but she was the worst I've ever experienced. Otherwise food was fine for a local l/dive bar. Drinks were fine.

Boneless wing are awesome. So many sauce choices and hefty servings. Dining room is so charming and friendly. Loved Golden Tee and PAC Man. Great sot for a casual meal and hang out with family. Staff is INCREDIBLY friendly and warm. I think they checked on us 6x to make sure we had what we needed. Fun beer selection and bar was lively and fun. Great find!

Bartender was friendly and nice, drinks were quick. Very typical bar food so nothing special, but was quick. It was quiet when we were there. Seems it could use a deep cleaning and bathroom needs updates, but nice local watering hole with very reasonable prices. Would go back for drinks

This is a wonderful local bar. The food and drinks are delicious with wonderful staff to boot. Especially, Rosie, she took care of us the entire night and made us feel welcome. My friends and I had such a great time we came back twice in the week! Definitely a staple bar and will be coming back. Full crowd on the weekends and quieter on week days.
