Asia 2000 Chinese Restaurant

I used to frequent this place years ago when I lived in Hartford. As I was passing through this weekend I of course had to stop and grab some “good eats” when I called and ordered the man seemed a bit rude/hostile but that didn’t bother me since it’s the food I want not an endless romance with a stranger…. Or do I ?? Idk maybe but this particular time i just wanted the food. First of all customer service subpar to say the least but the food was absolutely bussin’ chicken fingers did NOT taste like years old grease and dough, rice and chicken were good n fresh… I’m pleased

Too bad there is no zero star to rate. The restaurant, the atmosphere, the food... everything was bad. I can't believe I gave it a shot.

Try to order food over phone they Accused me of ordering food and never picking up when trying to explain to the person over the phone they have the wrong person and I wanted to place a order they didn’t listen just hung up on me bad service.

This place is DISTGUSTING THE RICE TASTED LIKE IT WAS FRIED IN DISH SOAP! I ALSO WATCHED THE OWNER CHINESE BUFFET SNEEZE ON HIS HAND AND NOT WASH IT the place is called ASIA 2000 because they've probably racked up 2000 health code violations

If there was some way to give 0 stars, I would. Get ready for a ride folks! I called to order for pickup today. I don’t order from here often because the food is very greasy but there is a storm and it’s 2min from my house. I planned on getting drunk later so in preparation, I ordered General Tsos Chicken. I asked him for a total and it was more money than I had. I said to him “I’m sorry, I’m going to have to cancel” he said “ok”. I then made a call to my favorite Chinese place and placed my order for the same. It is a 25 minute drive so I got on my way.I picked up my food, from Oriental Wok an Andover. When I got back in my car, I had 4 missed calls from an unknown number . Then my phone rang again. I picked it up and it was Asia 2000 saying to come pick up my food. I informed him that I had cancelled that order before we even got off the phone. He the said “don’t ever come back to my restaurant”.When I asked him why, he refused to answer me and hung up. I called back a few times and he just put the phone off the receiver and walked away. So there was no attempt at resolution.I looked through reviews and discovered that this kind of self righteous adult tantrum is common behavior for this person. But, I do have a little empathy. Knowing that you will never amount to anything more than a mediocre short order cook can make some people innately angry.Well, I won’t be coming back, and I’m more than ok with that. I’ve only ordered from there 2 times and the food is just ok enough to choke down when I’m drunk. They won’t miss my business at all. And at the end of the day, the food I got from Oriental Wok in Andover was absolutely delicious as always. I’m so glad I went there instead.

This place is worth visiting. They have big portions for fair prices. Constantly neat and with good character. Will come visit again.

The place is superb and broad, the meals was enchanting and the rates were very reasonable. rapidly, efficient service and very affable staff members. I highly recommend this place.

We love to go out. Last night we arrived in this excellent place which friends recommended to us. We spent a lovely time there with delicious dishes and a courteous crew and a professional cuisine. We put this fine restaurant in our list and we shall no doubt come back very soon. We deeply recommend.
