“Nice little deli/cafe, pretty decent food, good selection, and friendly staff. Even when it's busy they do a great job of getting your order as quick as possible. Great tasting home made soups and plenty of pastries, cookies, and donuts for those who have a sweet tooth to satisfy. Another thing I like is they always have fresh coffee available here too. Thumbs up to Day Hill Deli.“

“My first time ordering from here. I was curious because I see so many people going in. I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese on a croissant. It was already ready when I got there and it was still hot. The best breakfast sandwich I have ever had. Everything taste fresh. Croissant was light and crispy. It was perfect!“

“Hundreds of 5 star reviews and it really is true, this place is five stars in everything they do. Quality, price, friendliness you name it. 20 people were lined up to order when I came in and it moved quick. I also saw several regular customers have parts of their order put on the house. “Probably my top 5 Polish delis in the state. The food was amazing, the atmosphere is nice and cozy with lots of authentic Polish Nick nacks . The cashier was very nice, the service was quick. I got my food within 5 minutes of ordering. I have tried the kielbasa sandwich, pierogis, and the pulled pork so far. I can’t wait to go back again next week when I am back in the area. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Try the polish cookies as well, yumm!!“

“Me and my friends have been going here for three years and it has been the best experience out of any corner store in Hartford. Walle also has the best customer service out of any corner store we’ve ever been to and we genuinely love being there and walles will always be our number one store.
Vegetarian options: I tried it and it was amazing best vegetarian food I’ve ever had.
Parking: It’s good i usually walk there because of how good it is but the parking is good.
Kid-friendliness: It’s good the workers are the best they’re cool and chill and nice.

“Amazing homemade Polish food. I think the best croquettes (krokiety) i have ever had (had the meat ones). Plus very tasty bigos. I did not have a chance to try other stuff they have, so couldn't make my opinion on their pierogies.It is also a store, with a great variety of polish food.Highly recommended for snacks: a lot of delicious and cheap Polish snacks: try chałwa and ptysie! They also have Polish chocolate if you like European chocolate.“

“The employees at both The Kitchen and the adjacent gas station were all very kind, from the guy ringing my order up to the woman making the most DELICIOUS cookies, to the guy making my sub. I got the Smokey Bandit, and just half was enough for one sitting. 10/10 would recommend.

“We ordered our Thanksgiving Day meal from Italian Gourmet Deli and it was FANTASTIC! We have previously ordered catering from them and have never been disappointed. Their food is always delicious, plentiful and nicely packaged for easily heating it up with the instructions included. The staff is friendly and efficient. “For all who see the critical reviews...If you're looking for a $5 footlong equivalent, you're not going to be happy. Prices and serving sizes reflect current economic downturns affecting businesses and their bottom line. That being said, food was delicious and fair for the price. Fresh homemade meatballs were a nice surprise. Will come again when in the area.“

“This little sandwich shop is amazing! Easy to get to, away from all of the towns crazy traffic. It’s adorable inside, clean, so quick with service. The food is always delicious, they have a great variety on their menu. Melissa, who runs the front counter, is always smiling, super friendly, so busy and amazing at her job! She doesn’t miss a beat! “It's only 2 people working ( I assume the owners). The gentleman was a little agitated when I walked in, but the lady was super nice and attentive. Overall it's a small local restaurant. I do enjoy my breakfast sandwich and so did my nephew.“
