Overall: MEH. 1 adult and 1 x 12 year old for dinner. We got queso, a burrito, and a taco salad. It was what you'd expect at a strip mall Mexican restaurant in Windsor. Fine if a bit bland, predictable, we ate it all. It took about 10 minutes from seating for our waiter to look at us let alone take our order. Other helpers brought the food and no one checked in us so the mistake they made on my salad - tough, I guess? Drink empty, oh well. The salad mistake wasn't a deal breaker so I ate it, it was fine. Chicken in the salad was bland, iceberg lettuce, 20 black beans, guac was bland, tortilla bowl soaking wet. $18. Burrito was fine but similarly bland and wet. $16. Queso + chorizo was VERY good, no complaints except the 3 tiny tortillas we had to eat it with. We left at over $60 with a low tip for 2 people. I could spend $45 at Mxx's for more food, more flavor, more refills, more ingredients, and better service. Next time, that's what we'll do.

House made tortilla chips and salsa is the best. My chili rellano, not so much. Little flavor and no cheese.

I ordered the chicken fajitas and I was impressed. The rice and beans and the seasoning on the chicken👌🏽was flavourful. 😋

Huasteca is honestly one of the best spots I’ve been to. The food is fresh, full of flavor, and feels super authentic. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. Can’t wait to come back!

They hand you the lunch menu at 3:15 and tell you after you order that that was a mistake and they have to charge for dinner .
Non alcolholic pina coladas on the menu is grouped near something thats 3.50 and dont have the price next to it causing confusion hoping they could catch some sales from blinding the customer with that tactic . Shady way to operate . $8 for a very tiny portion on top of that .
They thought that not accepting responsibility for the mistake is ok and didnt really concider this could result in negative feedback and lose a customer for good.
Oh well I was actually starting to like that place after my 3rd stop .There is plenty of competion around so once something like that happens I am done .Win some , lose some .

It was a nice place with some good Mexican food. I got the buffalo wings and rice and beans. We had an extra large group for a work function, and they managed to get us all fed in good time and around the same time! The staff remained friendly. I also got a guava flavored margarita, which was also yummy! Overall, it was a great experience.

Nice place for family and friends. Good food fair pricing. The bar is separated from the family area which makes it kid friendly

Great food, great value. Some of the best pastor tacos I’ve had (I used to live in Cali and I try them everywhere). I thought the speaker at the bar was a bit loud until I had a Pacifico or two. Will definitely be back!
