The food was pricy, but worth it. The staff behind the counter was super friendly. The lady servicing the lobby was a bit cranky, but it was similar to getting on your grandma’s nerves. Food was served in to go containers with plastic ware for both dine in and carry out. There was a great sense of community between the folks in the lobby and the staff. This place really has it all. A beautiful fusion between a vintage & modern appeal. Classy, quiet & an immensely welcoming environment. Much of staff — especially the server at the time — had a doting, maternal disposition that made you feel right at home. The food is incredible & evidently made with love. Especially those candied yams — WOW. My family & I thoroughly enjoyed our experience here.
