They actually scramble the eggs and cheese together with some seasonings vs other diners/breakfast places that just throw a slice of cheese on top of eggs. Their French toast was more than enough with the serving size and was actually good (I’d probably offer the syrup on the side since it was more than I’d put on the food) and the smoothie was really good. Service was more than welcoming also. Definitely will visit again.

This is ridiculous!!!!!!!! Everybody in Connecticut watches jimmy official and Trey when you want to try out new restraunts!!!!! What bothered me is the character of treys experience, not acceptable at all… never will be.. Trey cooked for the owner. Did hard labor, Made a few suggestions because it’s a new business and all he got was a text saying “It’s not working out and your fired” PLUSSSSS….. he hasn’t been paid in 2 weeks for any of his work…. Make it make sense. I have been eating at this Restraunt for 7 months. I love their yeehaw but honestly hearing about their Stephens character has put a sour taste in my mouth and no matter what business it is, all of you should be paid for your time…. No matter who you are, just insane… Trey is genuine, he doesn’t care about the 400$ paycheck, he cares about how the situation was handled. Him and his dad has given me food when I couldn’t afford to pay my bills, he owns a retail store… money isn’t important it’s the principal. Like I said twice a week, every week I come to mojo’s No more, I’m sorry I don’t care how good the food is, I don’t want lying hands preparing my meals…

I ate here after I watched Trey to give his side of the story on instagram and on CTfoodies I can’t lie, I love the banana chocolate smoothie Trey or I call him Bernard told me to not leave a negative review, I asked him why and Trey said, “ don’t try and tear down other people like they tried to tear down me” Trey has literally passed out money to Hartford highschool students, Trey’s dad has given Jamaicans and Puertoricans jobs. Trey has a passion for food. Never needed a job but still trained under chef Eric and chef Dennis for 3 years so I know he is a seasoned line cook.. He has done to much good for any treatment of this kind We all saw Stephen fairlys text and no owner should talk to there workers in that way!!!! Less ego and more kindness 2 weeks without pay is just crazy.

The breakfast tacos are some of the best you can get. The staff is friendly, service is quick, and the food and coffee is excellent!

I really want to like it, but there are issues that I think a new restaurant will fix in time. I definitely will come back to try again in hopes there are improvements.

That being said, my problems were that they got 2/2 of my orders wrong / messed up. I asked for no tomato on my burger, the ticket even said it, but I got tomato and no mayo. The burger was extremely dry, almost falling apart. The soups say they come with bread, but unfortunately, the bread had the same story as my mayo, missing.

The pros? Large portions of fries with your burgers that are absolutely delicious. Staff were extremely nice, and the interior is very nice, clean, and comforting.

I look forward to coming back in a few months to give it another shot, I hope my experience is different then.

Need a better menu, the location was nice but the restraunt had no food that really stood out? I love creative food, very basic and non impressive.

The breakfast tacos and bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches are the best around. The Mojo’s burrito is to die for. Their menu is small and their ingredients are extremely fresh and prices are reasonable.

Food is fresh, tasty and the chef is also the owner. I've never had anything I didn't love... Chicken cutlet sandwiches are easily two meals.

Me and my kids caught food poisoning from the burger that we ordered, it was undercooked, we were going to order the falafel but a lady called Jamie said that the owner forgot to make more the day before so yeah…. Okay so I guess we get a raw burger instead. First time eating here, nice location, food wasn’t good at all.

Picture this.. "Free lunch friday" at work... Much appreciated! But this place ? 12 of 15 people loved their meals.. however.. my burger was so undercooked, I could've made a meatball out of the insides.. now on to the scary part ? my coworker bit into his chicken sandwich and had the pleasure of chomping down on a 5" long piece of latex glove that was fused into his chicken sandwich ?? the boss didn't want to call and "be a Karen " they said.. they chose the same spot the following Friday, and a few of us said no thanks.. that's inexcusable.. Do better people..

Small menu in a good way with Great well prepared fresh food. Made in house not just frozen food off the sysco food truck. Burgers are the best next to burrito and chicken cutlet.
