Some of the best pho broth I've had since Hanoi. The broth tastes clean not filled with msg. Plenty of noodles and meat with the beef combo pho. The summer roles were fresh and well rolled. Also liked that a pair of old grandmas and a grandpa were running the shop so you know its authentic vietnamese recipes.

Today was a snowy day and really wanted some comfort food. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a young lady with a smile and seated right away. Water was brought shortly afterwards while we confirmed dinner selection! Thai tea was instant but good. Spicy beef pho hit the spot! Beef vermicelli was delicious as well. Overall, great experience and if ever visiting the area again, definitely coming back! Thank you 😊.

My fav pho spot. Everything I've tried so far had been good. The portions are great and the prices are very reasonable! This is my solo date spot!

I’m sorry the food is good. It seems like nice atmosphere. I only ordered takeout and twice my food is wrong. I have a half hour for lunch and I expect my food to be right when I pick it up. Never eat

I thank the person who recommend Pho Van to me every time I finish lunch.
Best Pho in CT, hands down, absolutely stuffed with noodles, meat and veggies and priced like it's 2018.
Dining area is sized just right, four booths and five double tables. It's always busy, but the amount of seating means you won't wait long for your food.
Do yourself a favor, come down and try the P1.

A small, cozy restaurant with a decent amount of seating. The moment you walk in, you can smell the pho and food, probably because the ventilation isn’t the best.
The menu is simple, mostly pho and rice dishes. I tried the bún bò Huế (spicy beef noodles), which was flavorful and rich. The cơm tấm (grilled pork with rice) uses regular rice instead of broken rice, but the portion was generous and still pretty good.
Prices are reasonable. Service is a bit slow, more like a family-run spot with limited staff.
Overall, a nice little Vietnamese place with warm, homestyle, and worth trying if you’re craving comfort food.

Really authentic, super casual Vietnamese restaurant. Like street food style. Nice friendly service.

Pho Van truly lives up to its reputation—this place serves some of the best pho I’ve had in a long time. The broth is incredibly rich and flavorful, clearly simmered for hours to develop that perfect depth. The noodles were soft but not soggy, and the meat—whether brisket, rare steak, or meatballs—was tender and delicious. Everything was served piping hot and with a generous portion of fresh herbs, lime, bean sprouts, and jalapeños on the side, just as it should be.
We also tried a few appetizers, and while they were solid, the pho is definitely the star of the show. If you're craving a comforting bowl of Vietnamese noodle soup, this is the place to go.
The only minor downside was that service was a bit slow, especially once we were seated—it took a little while before someone came to take our order, and refills were a touch delayed. That said, the staff was kind and polite, and once the food arrived, it more than made up for the wait.
The restaurant itself is clean, cozy, and laid-back—nothing too fancy, but it doesn’t need to be when the food speaks for itself. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous.
Overall, Pho Van is a must-visit for pho lovers. The flavors are spot-on, the ingredients are fresh, and while service could be a bit quicker, the food is absolutely worth it. I’ll definitely be back.
