Best calamari I’ve ever had! Highly recommended. Pizza looked great too from across the table. Definitely my go to spot from now on

Can't say enough about a place my family routinely requests for dinner outtings. What a find this was years ago and glad to call it a staple in our eats tour.I personally love the look of the environment and the variety of rooms to be seated in.The food is always delicious, well paced for courses and never disappointing.Fried Brussel sprouts is a must and working from one end of the menu to the other is an adventure.

Make sure you come hungry, the proportions are huge! The ambiance was nice, good drink menus and the prices were very fair. The service was great, our server was very attentive and accommodating to our fairly large group. This place leans Italian, though they consider themselves American. Offering pizza, traditional Italian dishes like chicken parm and penne ala vodka , but also offering other options as well such as burgers, meatloaf and a range of different dishes. I had a chicken parm and substituted the linguini and marinara with penne ala vodka. The chicken portion was huge, but cooked perfectly. The penne was great though the vodka sauce was on the watery side. The bread at the table was hot and fresh. The only thing missing from the menu was a cappuccino. Overall great experience, and will likely be back next time I'm in town.

Can't beat the food, service is really great. We bring new folks with us almost every time and they always rave about the portion sizes and the food.

Tunxis grill was recommended to us by a good friend and it was not disappointing . The meals were great . I had the chicken parmigiana and spaghetti and my wife had the blackened salmon they were both delicious. Our friend had the steak tip appetizer and we also shared the eggplant fries. They give you a good portion for all the meals we will definitely be back for sure.

Awesome place. Knew it was going to be a great spot just by the smell when you walk in. Service was great, they accommodated a group of us pretty quickly and the food was terrific. Pizza was delicious, I wish I had the chance to try about a dozen other things on the menu.

The atmosphere and service is just great!!! The "PIZZA", well it's gotta be the best around!!!??
Tunxis is the perfect place whenever I am in town. Good assortment of dishes to accommodate any audience, good location to where i am typically stationed and reasonable prices. I had a little trouble finding parking when I last came to the restaurant but that was only a minor inconvenience as I found a spot not too far away.

Great upscale but hometown spot. Other than than 3-5 minute wait for someone to speak to me when I entered, everything was great. I had the deep fried mozzarella, French onion soup, and spicy chicken. Timely, well prepared, and good value. I'll be back when I travel here again.

Food was delicious - we enjoyed our appetizers and main courses. I would caution anyone coming with kids, though, to perhaps do take out (unless your kids are great at restaurants)! The kids’ food came out absolutely last of everything, and my children had a hard time being patient. There was no kids activity/crayon menu. My son refused eat the “strange” kids “macaroni” and cheese. Otherwise it seems like a nice place to come with adults only!Kid-friendliness: No kids’ activity menu, kids food came out last. I should have done take out and come adults only another time!
